Unless the Fins get two new offensive tackles, they just may be one of the worst team in the NFL.

August and September usually suck as far as any new info on any team is concerned. I guess we won't hear anything interesting in the coming weeks. Maybe Turkoglu's buyout? Maybe Osby's signing? But we all expect it anyways. Can't wait until the training camps start. Two long months goddamit...

Don't worry Dwight will somehow end up in the news with a PR fail... getting some random chick pregnant, corny vid, telling the world how he's been working on his jumper and free throws entering his 9th season.

Never gonna happen. Jags move from Jacksonville is much more likely.

actually the jags are less Likely. we were the worst team last year in the NFL and our TICKET Sales went up. jaguars Lease is hard to get out of. the owner wont move them from jacknsonville. he bought a London soccer team to provide more exposure and get the Jags ase a World Wide Commodity  he plans on having that soccer team play their Preseason over in jacksonville so maybe Orlando City comes over and plays them.

of the 3 teams in florida the Dolphins and Bucs are both more likely to move than the jags. i think the bucs are most likely to but im rooting for the dolphins so i dont gotta hear this we apologize for having to show the jags crap. whats it going to be once the jags are doing good which will be within 2-3 years.

Dolphins have too much history to even consider moving. Never happen. I really doubt any of the Florida teams seriously consider moving ever.

I'm with Pimp on this one. There is just about zero chance the Dolphins move. Amazingly the Dolphins really weren't that bad last year (unlike the Jags who were really bad). I think they might actually be pushing for a playoff spot this year if Tannehill improves. Regarding attendance, Miami has always been the home of the fair weather fan, as soon as the Dolphins hit the playoffs they'll be back and pretending they never left. Just ask the Heat. Or the Marlins. Or the Hurricanes. It's sad actually.

It's funny I hate Miami's teams generally, but I grew up with two choices in the early 80s... the creamsicle debacle that was the Bucs or the Don Shula / Dan Marino led Phins. Wasn't a hard choice.

Miami's both starting OT's they have right now are two of the worst I have seen.

If they don't make a trade or do something ASAP, Tannehill will have a disaster of a year as he won't have time to do crap and their running backs won't be able to run outside enabling defenses to concentrate on the middle against the run and pass. It really is that bad. Miami has the talent elsewhere to be a 8-10 win team, but without true starting OT's, the Fins could be one of the bottom dwellers just as easily in the NFL with the Parity they have now in this conference with the Jets, Bills and Pats.

neither team is going anywhere. the most likely team that is going to be moved is the rams, seeing they have stadium issues right now, can break their lease soon, and has already been in la previously. oh, and the jags aren't going to be any good at all until you guys dump gabbert as your qb. maybe 5 years if you rebuild properly, but no way that team is good in 2 years. and i'd be willing to bet anything that my bucs have a better season than either florida team this year. :D

Fair point. I was surprised they focused so much on defense in the draft. I assume they'll sign or trade for someone on the O-line. Can't believe we'll go in as is.

Fortunately for Tannehill, he had one of the best completion percentages in the NFL while under pressure. But, that wouldn't last if you spend half your time on your arse!!!

I really think Tannehill can be a very good quarterback if he has some solid protection.

I pretty much just watched the Tackles every play the other night and it was just horrible. Guards were solid though and the run game down the middle wasn't bad.

Beasley arrested for weed again...
On 08/06/13 at 1:15 am SPD made a stop for a traffic violation in the area of Scottsdale and McCormick Roads. As the officer approached the vehicle he could smell marijuana emanating from within the car. A search of the driver’s area recovered marijuana that was impounded. The driver, identified as Michael Beasley, was booked pending charges for possession of marijuana and released.

You know, I'm all for legalization and think we are too draconian regarding MJ, but it's not okay to be driving around high. Can't believe this guy was a #2 pick.

FWIW, I've been to both soccer and football games in all three NFL cities in Florida, and I've spent time in all three of them outside of a sports context as well, and I noticed way more Bucs presence in Tampa than I did the Jags or Phins presence in their respective cities (ads, team's logo highly visible in bars, people wearing jerseys, that sort of thing). Has this been what other people have experienced? Does it just seem this way to me because of some other random factors that I haven't noticed?
