He'll earn those badges this season. Trust. He's already got solid playmaking attributes, e.g., ball handle: 86, pass accuracy: 80, pass IQ: 77, pass vision: 69, and Speed with ball: 74. Badges like Dimer, Handles for Days, Unpluckable, Ankle Assassin, Lob City Passer, Killer Combos, Needle Threader, etc are uploading.

You gotta cash that in with the best possible player to help you. The time is now.

Who are you targeting?
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I agree...assuming ownership is ok with a blank check to Weltman. If so, my understanding is that the MLE can also be used as a TPE, so it can even be for a trade, where we just take somebody in - not necessarily only a FA signing...so there could be a LOT of potential targets to consider. Basically, anyone making less than $14.4m (or willing to sign for less as a FA) could be considered a candidate.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Gosh I must really sound like a broken record but some of you guys need to chill on the Anthony Black pro and anti side lol. The guy is 21 we really have no idea where he will go. He isn’t a PG right now but that doesn’t mean he won’t be.

Yes, it can be used like a TPE.

The Magic currently are +1400 to win the 2026 NBA Championship. 5th in the odds.
OKC +240
Hou +800
Cavs +800
NY +850
Orl +1400
Minn +1400

I like our chances against Cleveland.

The MLE is $14.1M, not $14.4M, so Gafford could not be absorbed by it since he makes *slightly* more than it is projected to be.

Sorry pal.

Maybe Black should switch numbers. 3 players all wearing 0 ruptured their Achilles. Dame, Haliburton, and Tatum.

The more I think about it the more it makes sense to trade draft pick for a decent backup PG. An improved version of Corey. Then use free agency for a swingman vet G/SF.

I think Magic/Spurs has a chance to cater to the European market. 1pm slot is perfect.

Its propably becouse we have easier road not becouse we are better.
