Is it bad that I would be extremely happy if we got him?

that would allow us to move jameer to his natural position at 2.

The Hornets won't take a bad contract off of the Warriors, though.

then we can move Wafer to the 3, Redick to the 4, and Liggins to the 5... all 6'6 and under squad

I read somewhere the Hornets will be lucky to get a 2nd round pick for Kaman. Not sure how his value dropped so fast.

it does not matter if redick is undersized, he is smart and has been working really hard since he came in the league. Liggins is the scrappy junk yard dog type of player we need at the center. and von, he is just delicious.

who needs size when you can have everything else.

PeePee la Fritz wrote:Did some research. 3 time All Star and one he was only selected because of injury, 2 time 3rd team All NBA, 1 time 2nd team All NBA. Sorry I cannot call that a superstar. But I did undervalue him by comparing him to Monta. He was definitely better the Monta is

By your statements, you obviously didn't really follow Gil very closely in his prime. He was a superstar for about 3 seasons ("his prime")....so don't go qualifying when we are talking about by saying "Gil in his prime" and then go "well.....he was a superstar in his prime, but that didn't last all that long". Illogical. Washington DID build their franchise around him, and they were moderately successful in doing so. Beat a decent Chicago team in the playoffs, and gave an amazing Cavs team quite a battle in a couple of series. The dude was always in the top few in scoring. Could drop 40+ on any night. Yeh, that's a "superstar". Was he an amazing one-one-one defender or anything, no (even though he did always end up near the very top of the league in steals per game)....which is why he didn't get a lot of the "ALL-NBA" accolades. In 05'06' the dude averaged 29.3 ppg, 6.1 assists and 2stls and STILL didn't get voted into the All-Star game....so there's always been a lot of Gil-hate for whatever reason. T-Mac was a "superstar" in his short prime, he barely got any "All-NBA" accolades either. But neither of their stats lie. Gil averaged basically 28-6-4 in his "prime". I can think of quite a few "superstars" in the league who average right around that right now...Injuries killed Gil, just like Penny, just like T-Mac. They were each actually somewhat similar players. All "superstars" in their primes, their primes just didn't last very long due to health.

He was also about as clutch as they come during a decent stretch. Game winning shot after game winning shot. Jordan/Melo-esque.

^^^ No question Gil in his prime was extremely fun to watch. One of my fav players & I loved his attitude. Wish he could've turned it around last year, but maybe if he goes to the Suns & that magical training staff he can add a couple more good years to his career.

Suns should try to get Gil & Brandon Roy hahaha could you imagine if that training staff worked some magic on them 2?
