I live 2 miles from the Amway center where Dwight plays. How is DirectTV working for you?

Neither could Shaq, but he still won 4 ships over 2 different teams.

Shaq had Kobe and wade. Both closed for him. Shaq was considered a side-kick.

Howard is still young and his FT's are improving. You are just jealous. UMAD?
No jealousy, I have dirk and lebron to cheer for.
Best situation, get a lottery pick this year who can grow into a solid second option. Good role player with our pick later on. Maybe stink for a year and hopefully get a really high lotto pick the year after and get a stud. 3 year minimum rebuilding project. Least that's how I would attack it.

Alot of potential big men coming out within the next 3ish years....Drummond, Davis, Noel.

This whole garbage about getting decent players and floating around the middle of the pack sucks. I'd rather bite the bullet and stink and rebuild through the draft.

You can get the Warriors first round pick if you trade with the Jazz. The Jazz own the Warriors pick as long as it is not a top 7 pick. Howard probably would already be a Warrior if we had a first round pick...

Ellis and Two top 1 picks just wouldn't do it. There is a zero chance Dwight will be or would have ever been a Warrior.

Ellis alone wouldn't satisfy the salary requirement, you would of probably got some young players too. Mixed with 2 first round picks would of easily made Dwight a Warrior. That's per you ownership words "looking for a Carmelo Anthony type deal." Now I don't think the deal happens from the Warriors unless Dwight agrees to sign before the trade (which probably would stop it from going through if the Warriors are smart), but Orlando would accept that in a heartbeat.

It's all a moot point though as Orlando should just bank on the fact Dwight will not be willing to turn down 30 million extra dollars to leave...

Ellis, all the Warriors young players and 3 future 1sts will not make Dwight a Warrior. It just won't ever happen. Not easy or hard, just never.

Actually, Ellis, Curry and David Lee plus future 1st won't get er done.

No way Otis trades JJ AND Ryno in a Monta acquisition.

Martins and the DeVos family would never allow if, nor should they.

You might be correct, but we still don't know what the FO will do in these next few days.

Just a hypothetical question... but what if Dwight gave the "okay" for the deal and promised that he would stay with the team if Orlando acquired Ellis (which would require sending out JJ and Ryan to do so)? Would that change people's hesitancy of sending out Redick and Ryan for Ellis? I'm just curious.

I advise everyone to click the "Report this post" button (between Edit and Quote button) on ALL of his posts. That should help speed things up and get him out of here for good.

So basically, a trade revolving around Monta, Klay, Udoh and two firsts for Dwight who has expressed every intent to leave Orlando in Free agency, wouldn't be enough to trade him prior to the deadline???

Well you guys will not be trading Dwight Howard then because that would be more than almost anyone would offer him in this effed up situation. That is very comparable to what the Knicks gave up for Anthony... Even me as a Warrior fan would be against making this trade especially for an non-extended Dwight. But, it's all a moot point anyway as the Warriors don't have any picks to deal... But it kind of shows where your minds are at and that is being content with possibly getting nothing and losing Dwight at the same time...
