The good thing is that Afflalo won't be needed to chuck up a bunch of shots. We have plenty of the on this team. Afflalo isn't known to create his own shot, but he is good at coming off screens via catch n shoot. Not the type of ball we are used to so I am real interested how he acclimates to the Magic starters.

lol this is a perfect example of this board overrating the heck out of our players. Affalo can't even create his own shot.

Two things:

1. Any player in the NBA can score 20 per night if you give them between 20 and 30 shots. Here's the proof. Our issue will be to make sure no one on this team gets it into their head that they deserve to take enough shots to get to 20. We don't have anyone who can carry an offense.

2. Can we please define the word "great" and then explain how it applies to Arron Aflalo?

That video did not help your case. A bunch of wide open 3's because Dallas was paying so much attention to Carmelo (which would be great if we still had an allstar...), a post up on 5'10" JJ Barea, a blow by on Dirk, and one impressive shot over a good defender.

you guys are overreacting. aaron isn't a superstar but he can at least drop 15-20ppg and make the team more fun to watch with moe harkless. we aren't winning a championshp this year so just chillax and enjoy the rebuilding. we have some fun players to watch even though we will lose mostly every game.

Great link.

I'd love to see some of our veterans showcased early on with some high volume attempts. Hedo, Afflalo, JJ could all do with some big nights to up their value. After January, I'd like to see the rookies get more attempts. But like you say, I don't want anyone feeling entitled to those shots.

Afflalo was assisted on 76% of his total offense, Jrich 72%, and Redick was at 69%, i hope you guys aren't expecting afflalo to come in and take over games like kobe

This board is clueless sometimes, I live out west and actually stay up to watch west games, Afflalo can play, SMH this quality of this forum has sunk big time
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.
