lol i dont think they would piss off Dwight and trade Jameer which is the main reason i think Otis is tradin for Hedo because Dwight always wanted him resigned

We got Earl Clark

Why make some rushed, desperation trade right now if there's still some hope of snagging what we really need? It smacks of Obama just caving into McConnell & Boehner's stupid wealthiest-two-percent taxcut extension thing to get something done before congress lets out.

If we offered the best we could and Denver said no thanks, no use waiting around. There is no way Otis makes a deal if Melo is still on the table.

If a deal goes down, then Melo was clearly a pipedream.

But the thing is, if the Nuggets can't find a deal they like by the trade deadline, they'll start to get desperate, and what looked unacceptable to them in December, might be the best they can get in February. Why settle right now?

Phoenix board seemed to think Childress was gonna get moved at one point. I wonder if he's a throw in here. Pietrus being involved makes sense if you believe Dwight was ranting thing. Dwight always fusses at MP when they play together, lol.

It is growing on me. Is it odd that of all these guys being moved, Pietrus is the one that saddens me?

i knooow right. i mean the more i look at it the more it looks really good. we upgrade at the sf and the sg spot but im just kind of worried about jrich's defense. i think we will all miss peaches. he brought soooo much comedy. lol

Sure it matters, SVG preaches defense .

Only legit defender in this lineup is Dwight,

Meer/J Will/Duhon
Gil/JJ
JRich/??
Bass/Anderson
Dwight/??

I gotta admit. That's a pretty good deal IMHO. We're getting more production with those guys, at least. If it works, we'll see.

So Dwight is our only legit defender in that lineup ?

I want no part of Hedo. He was over rated when he was here and has proven how much he sucks in Tor and PHX. And if we are going to make that trade, please throw in Q Rich instead of Pietrus. Q hasn't done a damn thing here

Exactly. Early last year, Portland offered Steve Blake and Travis Outlaw to the Clippers for Marcus Camby. They said no, because they thought they could get something better. Trade deadline came, and they took the same deal they refused 2 months earlier. Your Melo position isn't bad, because a) most teams will be scared away from offering real value, and b) The Nuggets want to screw over the Knicks and not give him to them.
