this.
we would have had to get rid of Bass or Ryno. And that's not a good deal when the only big you're getting in return is Nazr. Especially when the option of just picking up Troy Murphy (reports have said Troy is still undecided if he will sign with BOS MIA or ORL) is still an option.

Is it kinda of sad when you get a little happy knowing that you still have a chance to sign Troy Murphy?

Sorry. Gerald Wallace is NOT making this team that much better. And he's another number we have to clear in the future if anyone wants to attempt to get that #2 for Dwight.

Besides, who is to say Charlotte didn't want the picks.

do you watch teams other than the Magic? this guys defends Pierce and Lebron better than anyone we have ever had. He is an all-star and 1st team all-defense.

Yes. He plays great D. He also throws us further into cap hell. Not a game breaker for us...not at all

Maybe we hope that Posey gets bought out and comes to us but think he would go to the Celtics instead.

Ya because the bobcats were probably really enthusiastic about trading within the division.

That crap barely matters. The Arenas trade was within division. Bobcats asked about J-rich before too.

that crap does matter when the bobcats are still trying to get a playoff spot. When did the Bobcats ask about JRich, I never saw an actual report saying that happened. We saw a rumor that the Grizzlies did... Regardless we still would have had to give them more than JUST JRich, who CHA would have absolutely no use for besides his expiring contract. We would have lost Bass or Ryno. We can't afford that just to get another sf and a back up center.

Probably we will resign Jrich for an even worse contract this offseason.

"Dude" is not going to Chicago .. Cause Chicago will have as much capspace as Orlando. $0.000.000,000 .. They would be able to offer him just as much as we could

This.

People who think Charlotte got nothing for Wallace seem to not understand how the league works behind the scenes.

With 14 mil of expiring and picks ( I don't know what we have, but they can't be that much worse than Portland's)

stevekylerNBA RT @WojYahooNBA: Celtics vets are livid over trade of Kendrick Perkins, sources say. He's the tough guy, enforcer. But BOS can't pay him.

It pretty much only matters with contenders, if Bobcats really cared about this season, they wouldn't have traded Wallace for that crap. I would give up J-rich and Bass for Gerald Wallace and Mohammed. Gerald Wallace can plays multiple positions. Bobcats could use J-Rich, they're only SG's right now is Matt Carroll and Gerald Henderson. Which is why they asked about J-Rich when we first got him, when they supposedly offered Boris Diaw.

I really hope the Magic don't sign J-Rich. That would be horrible.

We need to start the rebuilding process now, another stupid contract won't help.

We have no picks and Charlotte still cleared 10 mil a year and got two first rounders...
