Draft lottery means big night for Brooklyn http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/brookl ... n-brooklyn #fb

NBPA on BK bandwagon too.

Does the NBA Store have those Dwight/Nets jerseys online yet?

This is the first time I've been intrigued by the lottery in a while. Because if the Nets win, or even get a top 3 pick, there may be a chance that pick ends up going to the Magic.

Shaw Stan or any other big name coach IMO should run like hell from Charlotte, they have the worst owner in professional sports, very small market, just had the worst season in NBA history, Free Agents will not go there without being grossly overpaid which are the kind of players you dont want anyway, no history as a winning organization, and I am sure there are more reasons especially for a coach like Shaw trying to establish himself as a HC in this league.

The Nets would have to win the #1 pick IMO to get Howard, not to mention they would need to give up multiple picks and their young player base, but hey, if Howard thinks just him and the overrated Williams can win a title, LOL....then I say go for it. Not only that, but the Magic would have cap space in 2013 to sign a top FA to put beside their nice new young talented team.

Man if we really land Davis at the pf that would be great, and if somehow we could sign Bynum
and he has a healthy career from here on out.

Shut up dont ruin my dream.

Me too, i wouldn't mind seeing him play the three, and put a shooting big by him, aka Anderson, and depending what big man we get back at the 5, he defends pretty well too.

So do you guys think we can do a sign and trade with Pheonix for JJ and a pick? Are sign and trades still allowed under the new CBA? I really think with a guy like him at the point we could really open up the offense for Ryan, and Jrich while still keeping our MLE. The biggest thing though is getting a wing who can create his own shot. That's gonna be the difficult part cause they're not just lying around.

Hopefully the draft is rigged. I'd be elated if we went into next season with youthful talent and athleticism. Would be a great way to start over.

I am just starting to do my draft research and I am just not interested in Anthony Davis. No one else doesn't want him?

His ceiling is David West IMO and he will reach it for sure

Not a extremely high ceiling, but I feel like his game will translate really well into the NBA. He is the prototypical 4-man in the NBA. Automatic mid-range shot, athletic, rebounds, and can D up.

He is not a superstar by any means, but he is a sure thing to be a borderline all-star type of player just because his game will translate so well

For who? Nash? If so, yeah maybe...but doubtful. JJ and a pick isn't a great package, so the Suns might decline that offer and tell Nash to go ahead and leave for the MLE. But if you want more money than the MLE, then get the Magic to offer us a better package and THEN we'll do a S&T.

I said this earlier, but I think a deal of Anderson, Nelson and a 2013 1st for Nash and Frye might work.

Every year there seems to be one or two power forwards who are only 6'8 or so and people question their ability to play in the pros, only to act surprised when they become decent or better NBA players. I don't watch a massive amount of college ball, but the one thing that seems to consistently transfer from college to the NBA is rebounding. 12rpg is no joke, especially in 31.8mpg. Whether that means Robinson would be worth a top-5 pick if we acquired one is another question, but I think he will have a solid (at least) NBA career, especially given that he seems to be a very mentally strong, tough, high character guy.

Rebounding is all about position on the floor, how can Rodman or Ben Wallace be so good with their height? Evan Reggie Evans is a monster on this. I agree that this kind of player isnt looked in the draft and we need to take advantage of this.

Only Rodman was drafted of these players, and he was just a 2nd round pick.
