I’d say 70% of that internal development revolves around whether Fultz can be healthy. If Fultz isn’t heathy we don’t have Cap to sign a guard come FA and BIG sill have to be broken up to get a guard.
I don't know if I'd say 70%, but definitely a huge chunk of our future. The optimist in me is desperate to believe he'll be healthy for the regular season and looks like the stud we expected him to be coming out of the draft, or even 80% if that player. I can't think of any reason why the FO wouldn't make a move for another PG or even a combo guard through the draft or FA.
This year we scored 107.3 and gave up 106.6
the year before 103.4 and gave up 108.2
IF we can add 1 more point per game on offense, and shave 1 point on defense, I'd consider that success.
Having the same top 6 player rotation is really going to pay off in the 1st half the season.
we started this past year with trying to work
J.I. into a starter roll,
Ross back,
Rookie Mo as back up C,
Martin backing up AG,
Simmons getting minutes
Grant as backup PG
This coming season, we'll be just working Chief is as a backup.
Our backup PG is a returner(MCW)
J.I. was healthy and became truly a starter.
Ross & Wes know their roles
Bamba & Birch now have experience
