Why would Van Gundy go to Detroit and then to New Orleans? Good coaches often go to bad teams. Their dog explores ho they can be the saviour of the team.

IMO if they are firing Clifford then ownership should just go ahead and cut the cord and fire the front office as well.

Just start fresh.

I don’t think ownership signs off on all the trades this season if the front office are on the hot seat.

With that being said though, I don’t think Clifford is the coach of this team next season

Cliff will take us back to the playoff next season, you can take it to the bank

I think he still will be. he's pretty good instilling great habits in his players... and the players seem to have a large amount of respepct for him.

I think so too. I mean if you realistically think about it, what did we lose this season that we won't really recover during next?

I mean sure Vuc's offensive production is the biggest hole but other than that.. we can cover up Evan's offense and improve on the defense with our young players already. Bacon/Ennis? Hopefully Cade or just Chuma fills that up. AG? Well JI is coming back...

This is longest I've seen this board go without begging for a coach to be fired.

Orlando's natural talent should win 30-32 games next season. Coach could carve out another 4-6. If Mr. Clifford take the Magic to a 38-44 record next season, I think we should all be pleased with that.

Cliff annoys me with some of his postgame remarks and rotations. But hes a really good coach. Id only move on if there was a Kenny Atkinson willing to coach

Clifford is a mediocre coach and it makes sense that his seat should be getting warm. Plus if somebody’s head is gonna roll it’s probably going to be his and not the FO whether it’s fair or not.

People who think Clifford is "mediocre" should watch more basketball. Vast majority of nba coaches are much worst. SOme of them don't even do anything but are placed puppet that star players ordered to front office to hire.
There are teams where in time out , star players draw plays

Long time ago, so I don't recall for sure, however I don't have anything against him, so I think I was OK with him. For instance, I had some reservations about Doc Rivers and I still remember them.

To state the obvious, Management and Ownership. And if you mean, from fans, all Magic fas where hoping Howard could be motivated to stay in Orlando. Firing Van Gundy was all about that motivation. So I would say that most fans accepted this move.

And it resolved with this guy coming to Orlando:

You could probably start one and Knightbro could just add on it later.
