Pritchard would be a great choice, or whoever is the number 2 guy in OKC or San Antonio

Pritchard would certainly be a great choice. He did well with drafting players.

Seriously.

LeBron James was the most popular athlete in the world.......in Cleveland.

The only other athlete who was probably more popular than him was Tiger.......who lived in Orlando.

Manny Pacquiao... :D He is based in Los Angeles, California in the US. :D But live in the Philippines. hehe

Anybody else read that David West wiretap about the situation in New Orleans on why Chris wants out? About not having an owner is obvious but the things about the GM trading away players Chris liked including Tyson and Pargo....Talked about not being consulted on moves...Sounds familiar? For Chris and West it's past the point of no return....The Magic may still have a shot to right the ship...We have to do it if we have any chance to convince Dwight to stay

My hope is that CP3 talks fall apart with every other team so they are forced to deal him here...

My first try at Trade Machine for Ellis just between two teams...... http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=cfc2qrz

Lmao to be honest GSW kinda gets raped in that trade but we have to take on Beans ridiculous contract...but we get Ellis and Beans would be our Backup Center to take Gortat's place as our Expensive backup

Yeah, i saw it and it sounds very familiar. Even down to the "something happened" thing that Dwight said he would later reveal, Chris and David said, "a series of events that transpired after (they were one game from the Western Conference finals) that sent Chris and myself into a different mindset in terms of what we really could get in New Orleans". hmm.

Sounds scripted. It makes me suspicious but I admit they have no owner to appeal to and don't know if the situation will improve. Orlando has it better in that respect because we will spend, but I am not sure about this whole thing anymore. Maybe Dwight changed his mind because he wants to stay and get help, or maybe Dwight changed his tune and not his mind because in that meeting they told him they had another offer from a team he is not interested in going to long-term, and he is backing off. There was a report of other teams being interested in the 1 year rental, although who they were was not said.

I think we may do something, but our options are limited because certain teams are not going to help us because they want Dwight for themselves. Even though he has expressed no interest in them, they won't help because of the chance to change his mind. Like ATL, I don't see them giving up Smith to help us. BOS, DAL, both LA teams, NJ are not trading with us. We have to look at teams that know they have no shot a Dwight, and then hope they have a need that our pieces will fit or Cleveland who just wants to help us stick it to Lebron. j/k about the last part, but i am not optimistic. Holding out hope, but don't believe we are out of the woods in the possibility of losing Dwight.

lol @ text fight. So different from back in the 1800's when you would argue with a man then get shot in the face. What a long way we've come.

Earl Clark wants to re-sign with the Magic, but the Dwight Howard drama has held things up. Clark also has an offer from the Nuggets.

anything more than the min is too much for brown. 7 million really speaks to how bad the c posistion is nowadays.

Ya $7 million is ridiculous. You are paying a guy who has done absolutely nothing $7 million to play 10 minutes score 3.5 pts and get 4 rbs...........I wish I was 7 ft tall. Kwame Brown is awful, he is just awful, and I would only take Brown for $2 mill or less a year and I had literally exhausted every other option.

I've been reading a lot of stuff from California about Ellis and it seems he's Mark Jackson's project. Mark loves the guy and I don't see him being traded.

Maybe this means Biedrins (and Monta) are on the way out via trade? Don't know why they would pay $7 mil for a backup who isn't that good.

I can see Biedrins, but like I just said, read about Mark and Ellis' relationship, they seem pretty tight and it looks like Mark is turning Ellis into his project, trying to turn him around and make him have a breakout year. I don't see them parting with Ellis.
