Ok flame me away!!!!
I hope you guys respect me for my opinion on this. Last year, we had that troll laker fan basically shoving Bynum on our throats while saying they will get Dwight. I was opposed to it then especially since Lopez was an intriguing prospect and they still had that pick ( before the idiotic Gwall trade ) and the blossoming Marswag Brooks.
However, Lopez did get an injury so this level the playing field somewhat. vs Bynum. Heck, for all we know those two will be competing for longest time in rehab or the bench. As to the extras ( meaning picks aand extra players ) I think Brooks trump anything Lakers offer except for Gasol. Plus in terms of willingness to take back our crap ( Hedo, Jrich, Duhon, etc etc) NJ will probably be more willing.
So I dunno about you all but I'm kinda torn. What's really preventing me from wanting to trade Dwight to NJ is for the sake of principle. I don't like people manipulating or forcing their way over a team's right just so he could get his way.
Anyway, the best scenario would probably be trading him to a third team. Wherein we get a decent big man, get rid of our bad contracts and get intriguing new prospects. Would this third scenario be a win-win for us all?
