So we can't criticize or love anything he does then. Is that what you're saying?
From reading some of you posts, you may have comprehension issues.

Don't bank on cheap tix. They still have to pay off Amway.

Lopez averaged 8 a game before Humphries was even on the Nets. And the 2nd year, he was barely in games.
I'm all againgst this trade too, but at least use real facts.
Yeah, you're right, he was able to get 8.6 rebounds per game with a frontcourt of Yi Jianlian, Josh Boone, and Tony Battie, all prolific rebounders... my bad, that makes it even worse

Ok, you can cheer for Luke Walton then.
Do you enjoy rooting for a team that continually makes mistake after mistake after mistake?
Are you going to be happy for your team if they give away the most dominate Center to whatever team he chooses for practically nothing while keeping and taking on crappy contracts/players?
Eventually, enough is enough. I been here 25 years and on this board for 9. I was there for Shaqs and Dwights first game. I spent my money on this team. I have been through thick and thin. Well, the damn has burst if they do something this stupid.
Now, it may fall through, but if they do something this stupid, that is the last straw.
I understand where BMP is coming from. I was right there last night. How can you continue to invest time, emotions, and money into a team that continues to shoot itself in the foot and make bad move after bad move. They had 8 years to build around D12 and failed miserably. It's awful and discouraging to fans. I've defended the Magic for years, but if they go thru this trade, it'll be damn hard.
I calmed down since last night and the summer league game provided a much needed perspective. I've come too far with this team to give up and everyone else has too. Cooler heads will prevail, even after this bull move.

While I'm not as despairing as you, we both joined this board the same year. Having gone through this with TMac and Hockey Guy, I think this hurts us more since we dared to believe again after that debacle and it looked like our faith was rewarded with Dwight and the unexpected trip to the Finals, and now this is even worse.
On top of that we have all these people saying we're not true fans if we stop going to games and posting on here because we are tired of this horse hooey.

I enjoy rooting for the players on the floor ... not for the ones that could/would/should have been.
I root for the players wearing the Magic jersey.
I don't root for the organization per se, just the players they put out there.
If this is what pushes over the edge, after all you've been through then

I seriously hope you guys end up getting the best deal for Howard, and he doesn't end up in Brooklyn. I hate Deron, btw:
Marc Berman
Deron Williams was open today discussing Dwight's urge to join the Brooklyn project. More than he has ever been. "I think he likes the market,'' Williams said today before practicing with the U.S. Olympic Team at UNLV. "It's a lot different from Orlando. He definitely wants to play with me. We talked about playing together for years. That's a big part of it as well. The last Olympics, we talked about it. That was four years ago.''

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XXXIV Off-Season Editio
Giving up on this team would be doing exactly what D12 is doing. I'm bigger than that and others here are. But this move is so bad that if it goes thru, the Magic are going to have a hard time rebuilding trust among their fanbase. People have a right to be pissed about it.
