Magic get: Boozer and Deng
Bulls get: Redick, BBD and Turkoglu

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=9ytq96y

I only see Chicago doing this to possibly tank next season and cut a little salary in the process (Turk has $6 million guarantee if waived in last yr of contract)...RDV is win now mode correct?

Josh Robbins ‏@JoshuaBRobbins
As @RogRubin has reported, the #Orlando #Magic are close to finalizing a contract with 2nd-round pick Kyle O'Quinn.

Kyle O'Quinn's 3 years/$2.5 million deal with only the first year guaranteed is a bargain for The Magic.

Hell no. No to Boozer. At least BBD plays with heart. Boozer is on downside of his career, cant play defense and is hurt too often

I don't know if this was already posted but this gave me chills

It's a good video, something that stands out though is that they mentioned that 20 teams worked him out and we did not, and we drafted him. Are we sure this guy is a steal or did we do the Orlando magic usual and draft someone we didn't have proper intel on.

Rob presumably worked him out while he was at the Thunder.

Larry Ridley @mrlarryridley
For those who were asking, was told #Magic are working on signing rookie Kyle O'Quinn, expect 2-3 yr deal #Orlando #NBA

This from a day ago, so Ridley is legit.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

The Magic were one of the 12 teams that did not work out O'Quinn prior to June's draft.

But Magic general manager Rob Hennigan and Magic assistant general manager Scott Perry already knew him well.

O'Quinn had worked out for the Oklahoma City Thunder when Hennigan worked for the Thunder as an assistant general manager. O'Quinn had worked out for the Detroit Pistons when Perry was the Pistons' vice president of basketball operations.

We had all the intel we needed.

"It's pretty emotional," O'Quinn said. "It's kind of like the final stage to all the work you've put in. It's another big day."

The contract is guaranteed for the first season at $788,000, said O'Quinn's agent. Orlando holds team options for the second and third season.

That's what I like about Henny. No matter the investment, keeping all options OPEN. :D

Forget about Boozer, the point here is Deng, he is very good, but if this trade doesnt go down (likely), i wouldnt mind bringing Delfino, he is a good player and we need a real SF.

Deng >>>>>> Hedo
Boozer > BBD
Redick? Let Jrich play at SG, we dont need both of them.

Boozers contract<<<<<BBD's contract. And at this stage in their careers, I really am not sure Boozer is a better complete player. He may be slightly better offensively, but he is much worse defensively. And then you are tied up paying Boozer what, $15+ mil/yr for 3-4 years? No thanks.

How can one forget about Boozer?! Have you seen how much he's making? Stupid idea.

The prize mentioned earlier is Deng (All Star) can help us out in many ways and with our current roster it's not a lot we can do to improve the team...and Boozer will show up more if healthy considering he's playing next to D12 (if only for one season).

"Go all out approach"-That's the chance Magic front office needs to take if they are serious about winning the right way, if not there's no point of trying to keep D12 8-)

What's the problem? His contract is big i know, but we dont have capspace and wont be major players in FA in the next 3 years anyway (Jrich, BBD if kept, Nelson, etc), so no problem at all, it isnt my pocket.

As for Boozer playing no D, D12 will handle it, he always handles it and now we would have another great defensive player in Deng.

Dont forget Boozer is a career 17/10 player, it's much better than BBD. People, stop acting like BBD is the next big thing.

The only thing i would try to change in this deal is to trade Jrich instead of Redick, and maybe send Duhon.

D12, Ayon, Kyle
Boozer, Andrew, Clark
Deng, Q, Harper
Redick, Liggins
Nelson, Ish, Duhon

Then we could sign Delfino or Barbosa to be our backup SG.

I think we can go pretty far with this team, even winning the title.

If Dwight would resign, I would take all of Chicago's bad contracts and renew season tickets. Hence, I would invest back into the Magic.
