Still would have preferred Lamb and that TO pick.

When watching Harkless at St. John's, he reminded of someone who will be a volume scorer in the NBA. So I'm not that excited about it.

In the end it seems it's going to come down to the it's better than nothing excuse. Like, he we got rid of J-Rich and Duhon (don't look at incoming salaries of course).

We basically just traded for the 24th, 25th, and 30th draft pick

When have we ever had trouble luring free agents when we have cap space? And hopefully with the rebuild Hennigan can sell prospective free agents the idea os playing with an up and coming group, and maybe by then we'll have drafted our next franchise player(s). A lot of guys wanted the OKC model. Well here you have it.

We will now. We now have a history of pissing off stars. Again:

Shaq
Penny
TMac
G Hill
Dwight

That is EVERY star we've ever had and we pissed all of them off.

So what? They pissed a lot of Magic fans off. Grant Hill robbed us. Why would he be pissed off? Shaq loves Orlando. It isn't hard to piss off narcissistic diva's. Money talks and free agents WILL come here. Orlando is a great place to be in the winter and is tax friendly. We heard the same crap about no good free agents coming here after Shaq left. They will come.

The real issue is this trade really sucks. All you guys that were preaching "patience" and give Henny a chance. Well the Nelson contract was a BIG red flag to me. Hennigan is just another Otis Smith. We are getting a fair SG and basically 2 stiffs (Harkless is wait and see) and 3 basically worthless draft picks. I don't care what the Houston offer was. I would certainly rather have their draft picks and a couple of their rookies then this garbage. If this is the so called "analytical" approach that Hennigan employs, he better find a qualified therapist and go in to deep psychological analysis.
THAT'LL BE THE DAY!

Trade for Bynum 1:1. Give him the five year new contract in 2013 and after 90 days start offering him in the league fore expirings/talents.

Pretty sure you get better stuff than Afflalo and sucker picks.

probably 20-something for the Nuggets this year. 2015 for the 76ers depends if bynum resigns and if he does id pencil that for 20 something. 2017 for the lakers and i can see that being a early 20 because no Pau, Nash or Kobe for dwight to play with

damn, I totally forgot they didn't have a pick until 2017. That's even worse. We did get GS 2nd round pick though!

Just saw that Afflalo contract. Disgusting. I hope he can play up to it.

How pissed are you guys?

You could have got the #6 overall pick, cap relief, a good young 7'0 center, MarShon Brooks, plus more draft picks instead they get freaking Afflalo and crap late draft picks!

Just when you thought Otis Smith, here comes Rob Hennigan! After all that drama caused by Dwight, you end up taking such a crap offer.

Trust me, I know what your feeling. Suns fans went through the same things when we had Steve Kerr as GM.

Here's the irony...

Bynum's numbers are going to go up in Philly while Dwight's have a good chance of dropping a bit in LA because of all the other offensive options.

I can easily see Bynum being a 23/14 guy in Philly.

If we had gotten at least one lottery pick to go with our own inevitable lottery pick - I could have stomached it.

Philly is going to have a great team to watch. I think Jrue Holiday and Andrew Bynum will make each other better. And Hawes will be far more effective moving to the 4, getting open looks from double teams Bynum draws.

Jrue
J-Rich
Turner
Hawes
Bynum

They also have Thad Young, Nick Young, & Dorel Wright.
