Count me in as my first disappointment with Hennigan if he doesn't resign Liggins. That would be a blow to their supposed scouting and development acumen. Liggins doesnt have to have a team easily, or be a offensive player, but overall, he looks like he can be an elite defender and savvy offensive player.

Our Ryno TPE is all gone now. Bass TPE is left over at $1,018,040 mil after using it to acquire Ayon & Harkless....

Yeah that was obviously lopsided in the Lakers favor but I'm certain we didn't get that large TPE just to let it go to waste. I'm really excited honestly to see how we will use that TPE going forward.

Yeah same here. Cleveland did the same thing when they acquired Baron Davis and that obviously turned out great for them as they were able to snag Kyrie Irving in the draft with the Clips pick from that trade. Kudos to Henny for getting that massive TPE for us.

The TPE supposedly cant be used if under the cap, because remember, we are still over the cap but under the luxury. This explains why Jameer's, Harrington's deals are not so bad in retrospect. Hennigan already has about 18mil in immediate, truest form of cap space savings with that TPE. It's such a big TPE and piece, that it must be used and not expired, even if it's for a couple minor deals.

It can be used no matter if you are over or under. The only difference is that if you are under the cap, its value goes against your cap no matter if you have used any of it on a player or not.
You can always renounce the TPE and it would then come off the cap if you are below the cap and want the space back for whatever reason.

Plus, Eric was slow on this. I posted a link to how this was done days ago I believe.

Actually, they didnt use their TPE in that baron trade. That tpe ended up expiring for them.

Magic will probably do a 3 for 1 like JJ/Harrington/QRich for some young talent. Then, the demolition of the team is nearly complete. I feel bad for all those season ticket holders that overspent thinking Dwight would be here. Arena will be empty next year if JJ is gone though. BBD may be the only marketable player left unless they trade him.

I am pretty sure I saw where the Magic are offering refunds to season ticket holders.
