I wonder what pieces would be included from Boston in a Jimmy Butler deal?

Brown + Boston pick (either this year or next) + who else? Crawford? Bradley? Smart? Rozier? Olynyk?

Doubt it, don't want them to trade him anyway since he likely helps them win a couple more games.

I think it's extremely likely he's gone at the deadline. Really hope it's not to us. I think a team like Washington will make a strong push for him since they need the bench help.

According to wiretap, that could happen.

How about Brandon Knight?

This talk recently about the Magic and Pistons trading Reggie Jackson to us, I think I rather have Brandon Knight than Reggie Jackson.

Your gonna be alone on that boat. Bknight is having an awful season. Look at his advanced stats. He is the Jeff Green of PG. He is also on a heavy contract for another 3 season. Suns have been trying to find a partner for him all year and nobody wants him.

11 pts on 40% fg, 2.2 reb, 2.2 ast... no thanks, we don't need another Augustin or Watson.

Everyone complains saying we need a better pg, Knight is not a point guards, he's a combo guard, we need a point guard who can score and facilitate, Reggie Jackson is perfect

Bc a healthy RJ would be the best pg we have had here since Jameer. A healthy Brandon Knight is the equivalent of DJ Augustine.

The reason the Suns are trading him is to clear up the PG rotation and the financial commitment there. So they wouldn't take back DJ as he Pistons would.

It would need to be a more complicated 3-team trade.

You just proved my point not his, lol, I don't get why people prefer Knight over Jackson when Jackson is not a PG he's an undersized 2, Jackson will be perfect in our line-up, especially if we wind up trading Vuc, this roster plus Jackson and whoever we trade Vuc for will be one Biz flourishes with

Well I was thinking Brandon Knight doesn't fit in with the Suns and maybe if Knight came here, he could find a home where he fits in. I've heard people complain about Reggie Jackson's contract and his past injuries. So its not like Reggie Jackson is the perfect guy to go get. If Reggie Jackson was the perfect solution and they pistons agreed to take on Jeff Green and Augustin, Than the deal would already be complete. But since the Pistons and Magic have not agreed, than this means something

Jackson for Green and DJ doesn't work financially.

The rumors are that the deal is stalled over what else the Pistons need to include to get a deal to happen.

If there is genuine interest on both sides, a filler can be found but with a week left to go there is no reason for either team to settle early.

Brandon Knight requires a more complex trade as we would need to find a taker for DJ. That means we would REALLY have to want Knight. That is hard to believe.

If the deal is Augustine/Green for Reggie Jackson and spare parts and the spare parts is what Detroit is arguing over - what does it matter if it's Bayes or Bullock/Udrih? All are expirings/fodder.

Unless the deal is PERFECT, there is no reason to make it earlier than you need to. You never know who panics at the last minute. You don't want to have already traded your chips.
