Winning does that for sure. Won’t be surprised if we see some old names pop up again from time to time.

In game 2, I really think we can exploit Gasol more in the pick and roll and have Vooch attack from the top of the key and take advantage of his foot speed. Going at him on straight post ups is not going to work. Also would like to see the refs call the arm hook more on Leonard. He can't get by AG at all because it seems to me that he is playing on borrowed time with that quad of his. He has lost a lot of his explosion from when I watched him extensively with the Spurs. Our wings can hang with their wings just fine in this series. Love the way Clifford has developed everyone's mental approach on this team.

Like I have said, Toronto is going to have to beat us because we are not going to just give games to them.

Really we are a different team mentally. You could see that today, there were no mental breakdowns like in the past. Guys had bad games, they went on runs, we got ticky-tack fouls called on us all night, but they never blinked an eye. Missed gimmes and no complaints. They are just going to work.

Thankfully the result was quite different.

Hopefully this doesn't mean we lose the series, though.

Same for me. That shot is seared into my brain.

Funny how certain shots stick with you throughout history. I have a Kenny Smith 3 that I still get visions of from time to time from 94-95 playoffs.

I’ve never seen a magic team play with this toughness. I think our length and defense completely shocked the raptors in the second quarter. Isaac was a huge game changer on the defensive end, played great all around. MCW has fight in him. Our length is a big advantage

Vuc did a great job on help D with Kawhi throughout the game. It added up and I think he got in Kawhi's head. That possession they had before DJ hit the 3, Kawhi beat his man to get in the lane, and I thought we were ****, but Vuc gave him a modest contest, and he passed it out to Gasol out at the 3pt line. I was shocked he didn't take the shot. As much as Vuc struggled on O, he showed a lot on D.

credit to AG for rushing to and contesting while staying down on that last kawhi 3... a year ago he might have fouled him by crshing into him or trying to go for a block.

Shoot, he did that a month ago, lol.

We've got smart players and they have good intentions. Just finally we're putting them in a system that they can develop the right way. Having Clifford guide them in meaningful games is huge.

Isaac was overwhelmed his first summer league game but looked completely comfortable his first playoff game.. like he’s been there before.

Gotta love it man.

For those of you who still enjoy pointing to the +/- metric for evaluating players ...

The top performer in this category for Toronto tonight was Mr. 0-7 FG, 0-2 FT himself Kyle Lowry at +11.

Had to decompress after that one. What a freaking win by this team. They fought so hard and fully deserve this win.

Like some habe said it's pretty crazy with how vuc & ross played in this one. I think the Raptors will get it together for game 2 but if we can come out and keep game 2 close and give ourselves a chance that would be amazing for this team.

I cant wait for game 3 I'll be there all decked out in magic gear. Let's go!!!! Go magic!!!!
