What have the Nets done lately besides suck? Also where would the Lakers be right now if the corrupt league didn't allow a Brown for Gasol swap?

Yeah I'm mad at Otis more so than Dwight

I'm over Dwight... it's his life and decision.... can't hate on the dude... he doesn't owe us anything... and it was a hard decision for him, and at least he didn't talk crap about the city.. just management (specially Otis)

The day Otis is fired I'll throw a parade

You gotta give love to him for sitting in front of the media for 30 minutes and get blasted. I genuinly feel he loves Orlando, but it ran its course and he cant deal with his bosses anymore (Otis). We have all been there, and I am sure we have all quit a job because we felt we werent being treated right.

yeah true that.... i respect him for finally owning up to his decision and being honest FOR ONCE... and he shed some more light that fuels my hatred for Otis

But yeah... I thank Dwight for all the memories.. ... I kind of don't blame him for wanting to leave... like someone else said, it's "amateur hour" in orlando when it comes to the management... they're holding Dwight down... and Otis Smith is incompetent.

But at the same time... I'm over Dwight.. I love the Magic, I'm not a player fan... once he wears another jersey, he's the enemy to me... i wish him the best of luck... but I'm ready for the new chapter and new beginnings. Let's Go! (even with (Please Use More Appropriate Word) Otis at the helm... when Otis is fired, it will be the happiest day of my life... that would be a good start)

If he's not happy with Otis, management will fire his ass before he can muttered "I like this team."

I want Otis fired but I doubt he treated Dwight horribly.

F Dwight he treated this organization horribly. That's worse.
How he still has a job is beyond me, that incompetent clusterF.

of course Otis thinks his moves were golden, because 90% of them were former Warriors.

That idiot thought he made championship moves? Looooooooool, he's a bigger fool than I thought

If I remember correctly the team he built did go to the finals.

Otis is to blame for BAD trades and signings BUT he did it all to TRY and win a championship FOR Howard and all. Dwight is trying to save his image. If he was truly mistreated by Otis, RDV would have stepped in a long time ago. No way Otis is worth running Dwight out of town. I just want a package of players that allows us to still contend..starting from scratch will suck. It's going to take some creativity but I think if we involve the Magic, his new team plus 3 other teams to get involved, we can get back some good value. I mean get the Bucks, Pacers, and Philly involved and try to get us some players like...

Bogut, Granger, Iggy, Jennings back. Something. There is talent out there. Howard should be worth at least 3 good starters.

Dwight told management what he wanted before and after the lockout and nothing changed. How can we fault him for that?

how much you willing to pay me? lol ... i would slug him on my own volition... but you know, i'm broke :P

go to kickstarter.com or indiegogo.com and start a campaign and i will gladly donate $50 to the cause.

it might be slightly incriminating creating a paper trail of it all on your part, but i'm sure Devin1L can find a way to get the charges dropped.

I lean that way too. Otis does not look like a guy who is trying to appease Dwight. I think he has too much pride to do so.

I don't know about that, look at Cleavland, they basically let Lebron run the team, kissed his @$$ 24/7 did not call him out on his mistake and since they didn't win he left.
you can get rid of Otis but if we still did not win the championship Dwight would still leave

With a slick move for Rafer no less.

Have you ever wanted to make a decision, but didn't have the balls to be honest about it? You know, find a flaw and harp on it, then blame the other person? There's a lot of this going on right now. He wasn't coddled by Stan. He wasn't heard by Otis.

Whatever. If you tell me Monday that Dwight and Otis are gone, fine by me. But don't lay it all on the FO, Dwight wanted to go, just like Shaq wanted to go.

the Nets set themselves up to get Dwight a legit sidekick, plus have caproom, plus keep Brook Lopez.

the Lakers know how to screw the rest of the league over. we all hate it, but a player is like a solider, and every soldier wants to know his general can win wars.

Not gonna lie, watching the video, he does look sad........

It reminds of when he was doing his presser right after the Game 6 Finals loss, same demeanor, tone, everything. Sounds kinda defeated......

He could just be putting on for show, though.

Otis cannot survive this. The guy that got you a 1/2 billion dollar arena built just told the world the reason he is leaving is his relationship with Otis.

He has survived this long. For some reason, it wouldn't shock me if he's still here. Magic should clean house with everyone in player personnel decisions.

Watching the video made me teary-eyed.

I think it's safe to say most of us, including Dwight, are emotionally drained and want this to end sooner rather than later.

I don't mind that Dwight asked for a trade and would love it if he stayed, but I'm a Magic fan I love the players wearing our jersey and wont stop watching unless this team gets moved. We watched him grow from a skinny 18 year old where ESPN was calling him Josh Howard(any1 remember the Rookie/Soph game where they I think said Juwan Howard) to the best big in the game aka Superman, had a great run to the Finals but I can see where hes coming from the trades after that season were head scratching and some nights it seemed like he was going 1 on 5.

Good luck to him wherever he goes hopefully we get pieces back that help restart our goal to being Champions. Maybe this team will resemble the greatest Magic team of all time The Heart and Hustle team, good times those were.

I think Otis treated Dwight like a dummy and didn't really consider his requests... blame is all on management at this point.
