We aren't over the lux tax. Amnestying Arenas brought us back down to normalcy and allowed us the ability to gain the full $5M MLE.

Imagine we field a team next offseason with the key players being:

Dwill
Lee
Chandler
Baby
Dwight

Seriously? You've accused me of anti-Otis agenda and your first point is to move down my grade?

First I worte that youre not informed about the magic and second that youre trying to twist the truth in order to push your agenda.
My first point was an example of you, being uneducated about the magic situation at the time.

How was it a good move? 6 months of Darko were so valuable?

Another example of you, displaying ignorance about the magic, darko was here for a year and half, and as I explained, the trade did make sense, reouncing his right didnt.

Thats like saying that someone made a mistake when he bought a car becasue two days later he drove it off a cliff.
The mistake was driving the car off a cliff, not the actual purchase of the car.

????? He signed for 38M$/5y which became worth over 40 when he reached some incentives clauses.

Ill give you that one, though it still makes it less than eight a year which seems like a baragain, considering he is a starting PG, was durable and made the all star team under this contract, making him one of the most underpaid all stars, not on a rookie contract the past few years.

That's why I wrote "Win in terms of short-tem talent, loss in payroll and future assets"

I dont think anyone considered, that late pick or cook and foyle as some kind of assets.
alston was on a good contract and was a baragain, espescally with the rockets knowing that we were desprate for a PG, not to mention that alston was better than most would have hoped for right off the bat, and helped us aquire vince and anderson.

IMHO TPE in itself is worth nothing unless team actually uses it.

I have two problems with that sentence.
1. a tpe can only be traded by itself and the only reason that a player would be traded for a tpe is if his contract is a burden on his current team.
I red an article once that ended with a manual of sorts on how to avoid losing a franchise player and one of the key guidelines was to avoid making trades just to make trades, I beliece the exact quote was:

"Don’t make trades just to make trades, they doesn’t help but often they just waste space in your payroll"

So according to that manual, using a tpe, unless a great opportunity presented itself, would have been harmful.

2. you cant judge otis' moves only according to how they turned out, if he managed to trade a second round pick, for a first round pick, and that second rounder ended up being better than our first rounder, it doesnt mean he made a bad trade, it could mean he made a bad draft pick, but the trade itself was a win regardless of how it turned out, which is something you almost ignore throughout your article.

How does Orlando get Dwill,Chandler,Lee while over the cap?

Wasn't Robinson a 'Dwight Guy' He could certainly come in and play backup PG minutes. His best quality being 'Not Duhon'...

In bad news from Miami, it looks like the Heat might cut Juwan Howard, removing the Juwan curse from the Heat and opening up their path to the championship.

Juwan Howard has been absolutely terrible for over 6-7 years now. I pretty much can guarantee a 1 on 1 victory over Juwan Howard. Literally.

and guys...

Duhuns nickname should be spelled "doo doo" and not "du du"

Du du gives doo doo too much credit and he deserves the harshest way possible of spelling the name to describe his game. Thank you.

I know he is terrible, but he is cursed, and curses every team he plays for. You can look back through his history of being on good teams with the chance to win the title and he has ruined it for them every time.

The good news is they kept him and cut Eddie House. The Heat will not win the title this year unless Juwan is cut.

I don't get why they kept him and cut Eddie House... Eddie can still run and shoot. the good thing is one less annoying player on that team.

I can't believe they cut House. He's a clutch shooter and a good veteran to have come playoff time.

I think they want to give more minutes to that rookie they drafted.

Yeah, we cut Gabe Pruitt a couple days ago. 15 is the max, and were there.

Neither Hughes or Robinson are pure point guards, but I wonder who is the better option for Orlando? Would it be worth picking up Robinson and waiving Hughes?
