i've got the same feeling. everything seems to be on hold. which is good, no need to rush anything. Bynum's not going anywhere, and if we do trade for him, every day longer we have him is one more opportunity for him to get injured whilst on our books. ha.

Henny repeatedly has stated that we want players that want to be here.

That's not D12. That's not been D12 for the past season.

with the 6ers amnestying Brand, they've got a hole to fill in the front court. so.... they sign Nick Young!

Hawes
Young?
Iggy/Turner
Young/Meeks
Holiday

Iggy has to be gone. i still hope we can swing a deal for him, based on BBD or Anderson. even if we trade for Bynum, i'd like to make a move for Iggy.

LAL: Dwight + Hedo
PHI: BBD + McRoberts + MWP
ORL: Bynum + Iggy + Ebanks

Philly most likely scoff at this deal, but it gets them 2 good value big men, one who's capable of playing C when Hawes goes down, and a perimeter defender to take over from Iggy.

Bynum/OQuinn
Anderson/Nicholson
Iggy/Ebanks
JJ/Liggins
Nelson/Bledsoe/Duhon

People can change their minds. No, I'm not counting on it. But as the pressure mounted, as the idea that Dwight was going to leave Orlando became more of a reality, Dwight became gunshy. I'm not going to pretend to know everything that's going on in Dwight's head. You guys seem to think that he cannot change his mind. And you probably are right that he won't change his mind. But history shows that he can.

well, maybe Henny is working to improve situation so he would want to be here. If that does not work trade deadline is next year anyways.

Not after we signed Jameer.

We need to save our cap space to afford a max deal next summer. If we ruin that now, the Hennigan is just as bad as Otis.

yeah, but maybe a two year deal, with team option after first year. Pushes Duhon further down the bench and if healthy, he can definitely lead scoring from the bench.

I think Bayless will find the market appealing. Don't think he needs to stoop down to the levels that fit our criteria.

Is there anyways we can pull a Dwight and change our minds on Jameer? I would rather sign Bayless.

No, and neither is 90% of Orlando. I wish we would keep Dwight. All I have to do is watch a highlight clip and I realize I don't want to watch him on another team. But 90% of Orlando is sick of him because the media has been absolutely (Please Use More Appropriate Word) for the last year and a half with it.

Rolling the dice sounds better with the deals we're getting. We'd get better deals at the deadline from more teams willing to rent as well.

By roll the dice, do you mean make one more run at the playoffs and then let him walk?

It depends on which route the D12 trade takes us, because if we go rebuild mode then there is nobody out there worth a max or us. If we take Bynum we may look to add another player for the Max but again they are likely none out there worth the max.

It has to be some sort of a possibility for Henny. You don't make a move like that without looking at all aspects and all possibilities.
