No, there's a date shortly before the season starts that you have to have your roster down to 15. We will have to cut or trade someone before the end of October, but for now we're fine.

We don't have to have 15 players until our first game of the season.

Ciara is no longer on the market as she is said to be dating new LA Lakers player Dwight Howard.

According to MediaTakeOut,CiCi has enjoyed "a couple of dates" with the baller, who was signed to the Lakers just last week, and sources claim they are keeping their romance under wraps until they feel certain it is going to work.

"Dwight is VERY conscious about how the public sees him... and he wants to be sure that him and Ciara are serious before he goes public with her."

UH OH I have a feeling Dwight is gonna be in trouble out in LA lol. Hopefully somebody told him what a condom is.

Makes sense being that Dwight just 1 - 2 stepped his way outa Orlando.

Maybe the old chick was too fertile. Or, not fertile enough.

Goes through each part of the trade and what happened financially speaking.

Our Ryno TPE is all gone now. Bass TPE is left over at $1,018,040 mil after using it to acquire Ayon & Harkless....

Gotta check out the link to see what Dwight was traded for. Funny just reading it.

Rob is a boss in how he constructed the trade to generate a $17M TPE. Whoa! If he really came up with this complicated transaction to generate this huge asset, we are in good hands. Imagine Otis, lol.

It's possible that Otis can't actually count to seventeen, much less make a deal this complicated work.

Should have given Kyle number 12. Certainly there's no reason to reserve it.

Schmitz just tweeted that Ish's deal is for three years, with only the first year guaranteed. I like what Hennigan is doing.

It's such a big TPE and piece, that it must be used and not expired, even if it's for a couple minor deals.

It can be used no matter if you are over or under. The only difference is that if you are under the cap, its value goes against your cap no matter if you have used any of it on a player or not.
You can always renounce the TPE and it would then come off the cap if you are below the cap and want the space back for whatever reason.

Plus, Eric was slow on this. I posted a link to how this was done days ago I believe.

Nice, thanks for clearing it up.

You guys, ESPECIALLY BadMofoPimp, need to read this entire article.

Great piece of writing by Amick, and ALOT of the reality of the deal is detailed. Such as Lamb being off the table after his summer league breakout, and guys like Gary Forbes being offered in the HOU deal attached to the TOR lotto pick.

Seriously. Read it. Now.

Many assumed that the Rockets' three first-round picks from this year's draft -- guard Jeremy Lamb and forwards Royce White and Terrence Jones -- would be made available in a Howard deal. But sources close to the Magic said Lamb was the only such prospect offered, and that he was off the table by the time the talks involved the Lakers and Lamb had impressed at the Las Vegas summer league in July (he averaged 20 points in five games). Meanwhile, unwanted players like Gary Forbes, Jon Brockman and Marcus Morris were made available (along with shooting guard Kevin Martin, whose expiring $12.9 million contract was a must to make the money work).

Yep. Same as O'Quinn got, and Ayon's final year (2013/14) is unguaranteed, too. Al Harrington's deal is only partially guaranteed in both 2013/14 and 2014/15, Hedo's deal is only partially guaranteed in 2013/14. Lots of financial flexibility, and the ability to cut players who aren't performing without feeling the full (or any, in some cases) salary hit.

Can you repost the link? I am sort of confused with what you said. Can you explain further?

Good article. I like that the first comment on the article appears like he didn't even read it. Typical.

New GF for Dwight. Nice to see he's fully embracing the Shawn Kemp model of NBA stardom. Have as many illegitimate children as humanly possible! 8-)

Turk was harmed by his luxurious off season lifestyle and the lockout and then combined that with an injury. He had moments, and played extremely well at one point, albeit short.
