Before the mods start thinking about banning me, I'd just like to say that you can look at all my previous posts on this thread and see that I did not initiate these arguments. All I did was state why I personally felt that Burke was worth of a #1 selection. Whether people agree or disagree is their opinion. My problem is when people start forcing opinions on others. With that said, I apologize for flooding this thread with my quarrel.

I see two combo trades on draft day possible, if this was the NFL.

Orlando trades: #1 pick
Cleveland trades: #3 pick, #19 (From LA).

or

Orlando trades: #1 pick
Atlanta trades: #16, #17, and 2014 1st round pick (top 8 protected)

I think we should be hoping Cleveland sort of gets shafted on ping-pong balls and is tempted to move up.

I'd like that CLE deal if it were to happen. They could get Noel, we could get Burke and maybe another wing defender? I'm not sure who's best at 19 to be honest. Anything further down from #5 is a cap shoot in my opinion.

I've been thinking about the draft and, while I like Noel and was on his bandwagon, I feel Burke should be our pick. Burke sure looks like at the least could be a solid starter, Noel scares me with his injuries and we all know bigs and injuries don't go together specially when we're taking about a top pick. So Burke it is for me.

I feel its either going to be McLemore or Burke and that where we pick determines who we pick. I think he'll go McElmore if it's the first pick then Burke any pick after that. IMO Henny lands a mid- first round pick via trade.

You two are both acting like children, it is a team forum and your opinions are just that, your opinions. Relax let people speak their minds about such and such player and move on lets act like adults.

Don't blame me, I didn't start this mess. Do you think I'm stupid? I know this is a team forum, I always remember to say "In my opinion", "personally", "just my thoughts", etc.

Who are you to come around here and scold me? You're no better than I am nor are you of any higher rank or respect than me other than more posts. Don't interrupt my quarrel with him and have the nerve to tell me I'm acting like a child with an avatar like yours. Mind YOUR own business amigo. I don't have anything against you nor would I like to continue arguing with people. Leave me alone.

Mind his own business? Lolz. This is a public forum, not a text message between you two.

And my comment wasn't that imaginative. It was a bromantic basketball version of "I've got more spirit!!!!"

I think I would be cool with Burke or Mclemore, but I would also enjoy bmp's meltdown if we take Noel.

It has to be Burke unless Rob has a trade up his sleeve to get a PG in the mid 1st or a big. I'm not really into Mclemore because I feel like we are set (for the future) when it comes to scoring

Forget the trading for another pick idea. I say you make a solid selection in the top 5 then focus on shedding the vet and contracts to have max space next summer.

No need to take another pick on in this years draft when we have so many young talented players needing time to develop. I for one want to see what we can get out of Jones and Lamb. If we can develop them in to solid rotational guys, then that will only benefit us next summer.

If we can somehow trade Afflalo and Dvis for future picks, I would not care what year they are or what round as long as they are gone and not in the way of our young layers developing.

Shed our vet contracts and we walk in to next summer with NO contracts that can't be terminated except for our 2013 & 2014 picks. Just imagine that pitch Rob can make to any free agents... "Hey Lebron, I know you know that wade is pretty much washed up in a year or too with his injuries, so come to the Magic and you can sit with us in designing a team that fits exactly around you perfectly. A team that will grow and get better and better and be what you need for the long term."

Do I think we could sign LeBron? No I am realistic, but it could be a heck of a pitch and someone like LeBron might just listen to someone like Rob.

For the future I feel we are. Harris can/will average 18-20ppg, Vucci 15ppg, Harkless 15ppg (IMO).

You take that 50, you think about Nicolson adding 10 maybe, the PG adding 10, whoever we draft SHOULD be 10, 2014 if we tank we are looking at another 20ppg, add in the bench+role players....

I think the foundation we have now covers us a little with the assumption that our cap and FA's will supplement the rest.

Do you agree?

Trade #1 I would do first...

Orlando trades Al Harrington & Glenn Davis
Brooklyn trades Kris Humphries & future first round pick (I don't care what year, but probably they would want to ship out the 2013 pick)

This trade is absolutely perfect for both teams. It saves Brooklyn $3.1 million in salary and at least $3.1 million in tax. And it gives the Nets a better starter than Humphries and makes the, deeper with Evans going back to the bench.

For Orlando it adds another pick and hopefully a g old rotation potential player. It also sheds the salary of BBD and frees up salary cap room next summer.

Do you agree?

Possibly if you project the players and draft picks to do that. I thought you were referring to their current state. It depends on how efficient those guys become at scoring. I don't think Moe is going to be an efficient volume shooter. I believe his game will be similar to that of Luol Deng. I think Tobias has what it takes to be a legit #2 scorer. We'd still need a #1 somehow. If that comes in the 2014 draft, then sure. I'd agree.

Na bro, that's why I put for the future but text don't give tone so my bad should have made it clearer

I totally agree with your projection of Moe, and I think Harris will be consistent. 2014 is a massive draft for us, unless we get a top tier 2014 free agent. Only problem with that is I feel those guys are 2 years minimum ahead of our project in terms of compared to where our roster is at

I know he's a risk in his own way but I wish Steph never signed that deal, would have S&T for that guy if I had to lol, PG problem would be solved as well

I like this trade, have you posted it on the Nets board or the Trade forum yet? I'm curious if they think it's fair for them as well.
