maybe Arron Afflalo for #12

They won't get anything out of Afflalo they can't get out of a rookie except a bigger salary hit.

I swear I said this a couple of times already, people just missing that part. That is the reason why it'd be smart to take a chance on him. He's an expiring if he doesn't work out, I don't know what more people want!!

There are other teams with cap space / TPE that would take a chance on him so its really about the picks Rockets want for him along with TPE, personly I wound't add anything but one-two second rounders, not sure if it would be enough.

Many observers have come to the conclusion Orlando won't take Michigan point guard Trey Burke (6-1 1/4, 186) with the No. 2 overall pick. If he doesn't go to New Orleans at 6 or Sacramento at 7, he could drop into the teens.

I want to know who these "observers" are.

who cares; if true, we can get him with Dallas' pick, if we like him more than the other PGs.

Rockets have to unload Robinson ($3.6m), Royce White ($1.7m) and Terence Jones ($1.5m) to clear enough space for a max contract for Dwight.

Nobody will just take Royce White's contract with all his issues. I think Robinson, Jones and White are a package deal. If the Rockets can't move those three as a package then they have to move one of their core guys to get cap space which lessens their roster and likelihood of Howard signing.

I would be surprised if we didn't take McLemore to be honest. But then again... Rob has surprised me with a lot of moves.

Upside, elite shooting, great athleticism, and defensive potential is a tough combination to turn down when the draft is as limited as it is.

We're drafting Noel or McLemore, you all should just accept it :) and move on to bickering about who we'll take with the 13th or another pick we'll get in the first.

I'm wouldn't be surprised to see Burke possibly drop into the teens, but I think he'll be taken by New Orleans or Sacramento.

See I think OKC should target BBD way more than AA. To me he is what they need. A big guy who can score, defend and hustle . OKC was missing that tough big guy to knock somebody down in the paint. They got punk'd in both series, even the Rockets one even though they won that one.Add the fact that he is a Playoff performer with a ring and it fits perfect. To me he could do what they need Perkins to do if he wasn't old. Only trade I could think would be if we absorbed Perkins contract and got their pick for Baby.. But I'm not sure either side would do that. Baby is a big part of our team and trading him and taking a bad contract is a lot just for a mid pick in a weak draft.

Arron Afflalo would be Kevin Martin if he played on the Thunder. He'd be a 14/2/2 guy there.

It's really frustrating on how underrated he really is on this team. He'd be a great 3rd option on a team, but with Jameer being out majority of the year he was forced into multiple roles(ball handler/primary scorer/distributor) and none of which fits the type of player he is. I'm not against trading him, especially if Henny goes with McLemore, but some of these trade scenarios are a joke.

Not sure if posted before, but considering the news today about Mclemore, I thought these were great.

Enjoy.

I don't think he underrated here. He's rated as a 3rd option player here. Unwanted may be a more appropriate term for those who think we don't have the other players around to waste our starting SG slot on a 3rd option player. If we had Westbrook and Durant and the 1 & 3, I doubt anyone would have been complaining about Afflalo putting up 14/2/2 on a small, manageable 7 mil contract.
