I'm not saying QRich is a great defender. That's not what im debating. I'm saying that you're getting ahead of yourself by calling Liggins a defensive specialist. I'm aware of what draft experts said, but that was in college. Let him prove himself in the NBA before calling him a specialist. Now giving Liggins an opportunity to play is a whole different argument.

How the heck does a Bynum+Goudelock+1st+1st+taking on Duhon+Richardson lose to a NJ deal of injured Lopez+injured Brooks+the same extras? Heck if Big Baby is such a problem perhaps we'll take his lard ass too. Point is where is the big divergence that makes NJ's deal so good?

If we go get just Bynum we are essentially the same team, no wiggle room or way to improve, we would just be substituting Dwight for Bynum. The Nets deal allows us WAY more flexibility.

If anything Turk has value. They can't take Turk and Duhon/BBD. Those last two have no value at all.

If rumors true that DHoward will not re-sign with L.A., Magic might let him walk. Magic don't want Brook Lopez, healthy or otherwise

He is no insider.
As a side note though, if the Magic don't take that New Jersey deal near the deadline and decide to just let him walk I will no longer support this organization. That piled on top of all the other bull we've had to deal with plus the fact that Otis is still employed would be too much.

i guess we would prefer to start daniel orton at center? if dwight doesn't commit then lopez and marshon plus draft picks and salary relief is the move to make. that said i expect the nets and magic to begin trade talks next month. we can use dallas as leverage b/c dwight and deron can walk there next season. Also LA can provide some leverage
