Wait, I must've missed that... is that from the Berger article?

Yeah. It says "part of a complicated, three-team proposal that would send Monta Ellis to Orlando" . Also says he's confirmed with "multiple" league sources. So this isnt just Alex Kennedy. :D

Feels sort of like the lockout period around here. But this time around there's an actual deadline that can't be extended.

We'd have 20 mil of salaries incoming with Ellis/SJax. Turk is almost certainly going to be moved. Will the bucks take Turk if we give them a 1st rounder and Orton? Perhaps Kwame's expiring?

Dalemert and CLee can definitely be out done with by offering some of our guys ... so it comes down to besting Houston's draft pick http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/ ... s/detailed

That NY pick is becoming better every passing day.

Not bad. Don't know if Milwaukee does it. GS, maybe. Dwight has to commit before I would trade our assets.

I wonder why D. Jordan doesn't think about hiring Hakeem during the offseason?

We know what's on the table. Dalembert, C Lee, and picks. That's not a fantastic unbeatable package IMO.

The Rockets and Warriors are discussing ways to acquire center Andrew Bogut from Milwaukee, with the Golden State scenario part of a complicated, three-team proposal that would send Monta Ellis to Orlando, multiple league sources told CBSSports.com.

The Warriors would get Bogut from the Bucks and send Ellis to Orlando as part of the Magic's efforts to persuade Dwight Howard that they are prepared to continue surrounding him with top-flight talent. The Magic are exploring multiple scenarios to upgrade their roster in the hopes that Howard would then relent on his strategy to opt out of his contract and become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

Here we go.

I keep reading the article over and over again... I won't be able to sleep again tonight.

Back in the 90's, those Georgetown boys used to battle each other during the offseason practicing against each other. Wasn't it Zo, Hakeem and Ewing? Wish there was some tape of that.

Hey NW (if you're still around), this is a serious question. would you guys be okay with letting Ellis go if we help you guys get Bogut somehow?

You would think so, but MIL gets back a starting center, decent 2 guard, and draft picks, which give them the edge imo. If they're going into rebuild, draft picks are coveted. I assume they have better picks than us. I'm not sure they'd be interested in Ryan, since they have Ilyasova. We may have a better package of players, but it's up to what MIL wants and what direction they want to go in. GS and ORL would almost have to work together in order for GS to get Bogut and us to get Monta.
