Teams need their fans the most when they're struggling. Bandwagon fans need to go to the Heat or Nets board and stay there, don't bother coming back when we're winning again.

There will be some rough years ahead, but we're just gonna keep getting better and better till we find the right players to do what Dwight&Shaq never could, bring a championship to the City of Orlando.

take a look at the Raps board. Those guys are real fans

Sam Amico @SamAmicoFSO
Don't shoot the messenger, but Western Conference source says if Cavs are holding up this trade, "they're idiots." Adds, "Forget Humphries and the others - they should go get another (first-round) pick. They won't get a better offer this summer. What else are they gonna do? Spend money on Derek Fisher?" Of course, the source did add he hopes Cavs don't go through with deal because he doesn't want to see Howard with Nets

Deron Williams was open today discussing Dwight's urge to join the Brooklyn project. More than he has ever been. "I think he likes the market,'' Williams said today before practicing with the U.S. Olympic Team at UNLV. "It's a lot different from Orlando. He definitely wants to play with me. We talked about playing together for years. That's a big part of it as well. The last Olympics, we talked about it. That was four years ago.''

Which is why he defended Lebron so hard.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

They both (Dwight and Deron) did.

I also think that those saying they'll stop being fans are just frustrated in the moment, as they should be. But tough times will make the good ones sweeter.

Joe Treutlein ‏@Hoopdata

I'd be very surprised if someone from Presti/Buford school of GM'ing made desperate move to avoid PR distraction in a punted season.

Be sure the target of your frustration is correctly placed.

Why are we needing to rebuild, again?

Why are backed into a corner as far as trading partners?

etc...

Frustration can go to both D12 and the management. I tend to place it more so on management. They had 8 years to get D12 a sidekick and they couldn't do it.

It's a trend with the Magic franchise. I'm glad that this whole Dwight fiasco has forced us to get rid of the old regime and start fresh. But if the new one makes the same mistakes as the others, what has really changed?

Reportedly they (DWill & D12) spoke about this 4 years ago ... about the time the Magic were in the ECFs/Finals.

The Dwight fiasco would not have been a fiasco were it not for that team up plan, thus the Nets only resigning.

If he was just upset about being here, it would have been "I'll sign with a contender" not I'll ONLY sign in Brooklyn".

Yes. The one that who hasn't been able to keep any of his 4 stars in a span of 16 years.

I will never root for another team, but if this trade happens I will be done with the NBA in general, I've been a Magic fan for a very long time, I've seen a lot of bad, but the NBA has been very shaky over the years, and with the league being populated with another super-star team, filled with players I hate and we get back the crap of all crap, I'm done. That'll be the final straw.

There's an awesome troll job going on Twitter now with Lakers fans.

So a girl took a pic of Bynum at the airport

https://twitter.com/U2sannieGO

Then some Lakers blogs took it and started tweeting that he's on a plane to Orlando, and Twitter being Twitter, it has taken off. Search "Bynum Orlando"

She tweeted that she "checked" and he's not on a plane to Orlando, just vacation.

I don't get why folks are so pissed at management. If there's anyone to blame for this situation, it's Dwight.

Loyalty. Love for the city and fans. Only trade me to the Nets, Lakers, or Mavs. Scratch that, the only place I'll resign is Brooklyn.

He's a prima donna, and the blame is on him. He played every single one of us.

So we can't criticize or love anything he does then. Is that what you're saying?

From reading some of you posts, you may have comprehension issues.

Hahaha. That's a great response. One I will certainly remember to use down the road myself!

But seriously, whatever happens with Dwight's trade... you can be sure that Hennigan will be forever tied to it. Nothing anybody says will or should stop that.

Sure, they talked about it. But I wouldn't say that was the end all be all. I still believe that had the Magic created a perennial contender in ORL, like the Nets are doing now, D12 would have extended. Magic never gave it to him though.
