We should be in the top 5 picks again, so we should be able to get a great player regardless of who it is. I don't believe the anti-Wiggins hype yet...

I am exhausted and probably will miss the Magic and UCF games which I want to watch insanely. I just got back from NC where I hiked 4 straight days over 11+ miles daily up mountains with an intense hiking group then I drive all the way back yesterday to find out I have company coming over today for Biktoberfest. So, I was up late cleaning house, then worked an insanely busy day at work due to being out for a week while they are waiting for me to get off work to party before going to bike fest early tomorrow with people crashing at my house. And, I am already dying here of exhaustion. I can't even remember who and what I promised someone to do on Sunday after the group leaves town.

A week before college football started there were questions surrounding Jameis Winston's practice performances. And look how that turned out.

He's a young kid moving away from home for the first time. Remember there were questions if he'd even come out this year because of family/a girlfriend? So there's an adjustment period that has to be accounted for.

I know. I think it will be a jumbo-tron feed. All other games not televised have been. Other than our first game but that was in Jacksonville. At our home arena we will almost definitely get a jumbo-tron feed.

They did for the first pre-season game and nothing showed up when the game started.

...I've never seen such a premier athlete with great skills be so mentally weak. Odds are better that he has career low in free throws and is even more of a liability in the closing moments than he has ever been.

I think he can be successful in Houston, at the end of the day....but he still has a LOT of growing up to do. When it takes Batman to motivate you, something is off up there.

Derrick Favors has agreed to a four-year, $49 million contract extension with the Utah Jazz.
The deal includes bonus incentives that could push the value for Favors well over $50 million.

A lot of money for potential...

All of these big men deals make me dread the day Vuc becomes a free agent. If he isn't a 1-year wonder, he's gonna get a max deal from us or someone else.

This is actually a much better deal than the Demarcus Cousins extension. Favors has already shown he can be a 15 and 11 guy if given starter's minutes. $12 Million per year is what you pay for that unfortunately. He's still super athletic and an above average defender. If he becomes 20% better over the next 4 years, that contract looks like a steal.

Pf- we need a defensive specialist

AN can be s Good bench player, immediate offensive spark

Jury on lamb, we need to see more

I agree on drafting smart! I think this Wiggins kid COULD be great with hard work, but his mental approach to the game needs to improve first. Adidas might be making a huge mistake if he turns out to be a bad version of LBJ and not live up to the hype...

What if Marcus Smart just isn't good? He shot 40% last year and was a turnover machine (1.2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio). Point guards who can't shoot do not lead good offenses in the NBA. I really hope that the hype on this guy dies down some this year.
