He could score just as much (or even more) without disrupting the offensive flow. He's a helluva shooter with good size and the ability to attack close-outs. If they reverted to opportunistic offense instead of creation fails, he and AG could be awesome role players. In their defense, there was NO other primary creator that was a legit threat to take them out of that role previously - maybe DJ, but that's pretty limiting.

this x1000

Fultz being an all-star aligns the rest of the roster in the correct hierarchy and puts everyone in their correct roles. We'd flourish and that's the vision of the FO. That's why they haven't made many moves over the years; we have good players but just out of sync. If Fultz can become THAT GUY, everything else should click.

I think we have the two most... interesting? rookie extension candidates right now. Could see it going a lot of different ways in terms of what their possible extension numbers are. But I doubt either happens.
When's the last time we extended a player, Dwight?

That assumpsion begs the question : so he didn't put in work before?

He is 4th year player this, upcomming year. His shoulder condition either is perminanat or always was excuse. Because nerv demage by any logic, isn't possible to cure. :dontknow:

I don't know. I'm just addressing why Cliff might be saying nice things about him here as we head into training camp with two rookies likely to be in the rotation.

I'm just saying it's more likely that the coach is coaching rather than deliberately doing the work of the PR department.

" Last offseason, up until late July,he could barley shoot from FT line, can you see difference in his comfrot taking different shots now as he had offseson, aldo being bridged to work on his shot and shoot from different levels"

THIS WAS QUESTION !!!
It wasn't even question, it was guy saying what he wanted and asking Clifford to comment on his statment. What a hell he could say? Nop he can't ?

Clifford THREE times in same interview kept repeating " he is better mentally now " witch is... remarkably specific word to describe somebody who had "injury" .

This felt like post draft local tv station asking rookie "question" - "isn't playing for Hornets your life long dream and aren't you happy to be here, help team, fans and community grow " ? I mean what a hell somebody could say ?

Don't care if it's false hope. Count me on the Fultz hype train.

Yep. What's wrong with a little false hope for a couple weeks when you follow the most boring team in professional sports?

You are wrong buddy. Assistant Director of Digital Content at Orlando Magic-Dan Savage is asking Orlando Magic head coach "question"
that literally goes:

" Last offseason, up until late July,he could barley shoot from FT line, can you see difference in his comfrot taking different shots now as he had offseson, aldo being bridged to work on his shot and shoot from different levels"

This is equivivalent of North Korea having democratic elections ... with one candidate.

pepe, you have a knack for overstating things.

It's preseason. Our team probably isn't very good, but our coach still has to coach, and our marketing department still has to market the team. There are things about all this that cause me unhappiness and frustration.

North Korea takes it to a moderately insane level, but I weirdly respect your enthusiasm for finding new ways to express your frustration. I guess we all have our ways of coping.

He showed us many flashes last season...... time to make it a more consistent thing. Hopefully Cole will light that fire.

Maybe he should have said that Gordon is ready for allstar leap too

Than why would he go into specifics regarding his shot and release point?

He could have gone with more general non binding statements about the work he put and the improvements he made but instead he mentioned something specific and said "you'll see" several times, which could easily backfire in about a day when Fultz shows up with the exact same jumper.

I didn't think we extended him. Remember he was talking with other teams. He was a restricted free agent.

Roy Parry
@osroyparry
Magic coach Steve Clifford said Terrence Ross will not play and James Ennis is doubtful for Friday's preseason opener vs. the Hawks.

Good news for Cole, Bacon and Okeke.

When you say a year 4 player, I can absolutely disagree with that.

How many games did he play before being sidelined? Like less than 40 in two years? Are we seriously stating he gained anything from two injury riddled seasons? This is the stance you are taking?

Let's be realistic, he is a PG who suffered from a shoulder injury that ruined his shooting stroke. He has slowly been getting it back, his midrange game is evidence of that, and the missing piece has always been the three ball. He got to play a whole season, even gaining playoff experience, and we are still pretending he can't improve.

I considered him to be a red shirted rookie last year, this year will be a coming out party for him. Mark my words.

Harden to the Bucks is a situation that genuinely intrigues me.

As someone who does not believe in building around James Harden, I might be able to get on board with a Harden-Giannis combo.

That might be the miracle tandem.

Middleton + filler + endless picks?

What do the bucks have to do?
