ORL recv: David Lee, S-Jax, Monta Ellis, and Charles Jenkins

MIL recv: Biedrins, Curry, 1st

GS recv: Bogut, Hedo, Meer, J-Rich

My sources are telling me if this falls through Otis will attempt to relocate the franchise to Vegas and sign Gilbert Arenas.

sometimes a veteran extends an injury-related absence, so that the rookie behind him can get minutes. i am not naming names.

"Aaron Gordon will cost Henny's job by Dec 2016." Predicted Dec 2014.

"O'Quinn will have a longer and more successful NBA career than Nicholson." Predicted Jun 2012. Verified on Dec 2014.

I think he is talking about Quentin Richardson's injury allowing Liggins to get minutes.

If Otis could get Monta without giving up Ryan + get Dwight to opt-in .. He should absolutely win exec of the year

I'd still like to fire this guy, it wouldn't reach this point if he played his cards right.

Not that I'd be up for trading it, but a 2014 1st round pick from us is probably worth a lot.

as per wiretap

I didn't think veterans beyond 4 years could go down to D-league??

if the Mavs aren't happy with him and would consider trading him, he'd make a great replacement for Anderson - in the event we had to deal him for an upgrade.

i.e.

1st deal:

GSW - Kaman + JRich + BBD
NOH - Anderson + Nelson
MIL - Biedrins
ORL - Monta + SJax + Rush

2nd deal:

DAL - Beasley
MIN - JJ + Ish
ORL - Odom

Dwight
Odom/Clark
Hedo/Q
SJax/Rush
Monta/Duhon

lol... what a massive overhaul midseason. gets Dwight guys with championship experience, though. and come the summer of 2013, we'll have loads of capspace AND Monta's bird rights. could probably be positioned to sign Josh Smith and hold Dwight and Monta. not bad.

Why would the Bucks trade SJax for Biedrins?

so they could pay $9M to a guy they can get use out of? and since Bogut is out, it'd probably be a bonus to them - for now.

i, personally, think that Biedrins is the kind of guy that just needs exposure on the right team to suddenly be worth his contract. i actually think Golden State does a good job of making their own talent seem less talented.

if Stan had Biedrins, i'm sure he could get him doing a decent job anchoring a defense. not great, by any stretch, but decent.

Q is the best teammate one could have. One of Otis' better signings.

I can only imagine what that call could've been ..

"Hey Jarrod, I work for the Golden State Warriors. I've got some news for you. Warriors & Magic are working on a trade to get Ellis to Orlando. Don't tell anyone you got it from me. But could you do me a favor? Tell Chris Broussard what I just told you. That way both of you will look like fo.. I mean great reporters. Thanks & see you soon"

Dwight must have blocked him, so he moved on to Jarrod? I would have thought he would have Ryan's number by now.

It would be protected, no matter how stupid some think Otis is, it'd be protected. Top 10, top 15, something like that.
