If Kobe says, "Yeah, I want D12 in LA" and then doesn't get it, he has to play a full year with Bynum with Bynum knowing he was tossed under that bus by Mamba. D12 did it to Jameer with his demands for CP3 and D-Will.

Another possible thing is Kobe probably has a little animus toward D12 for snubbing the Lakers early last year. Rumor was D12 didn't like the way Kobe portrayed his role with the Lakers as a "Tyson Chandler", and so D12 moved LA to the back burner. Kobe could be thinking screw this guy, I'm rolling with Bynum.

Too late for that

But, I really do believe that D12 is an attention whore. He wants the spotlight. He wants his own team. He doesn't want to play second fiddle to D.Rose or Durant. It's why I think he doesn't want LA either. He wants to be on a team where he is the "star." He's a pretty Hollywood guy. And he probably has this impression that he'll be the alpha dog in BRK. Personally, I think he'd be second fiddle to D-Will.

Did anyone hear Denton on the radio this morning? According to "Team Fan" on TBN, and confirmed by another poster, this is what he paraphrased Denton talking about:
I heard John Denton on the radio this morning and he said that the Dwigt issue will not be resolved any time soon and that Dwight prefers to make it work here in Orlando. He also said Hennigan would like a coach in place by the end of July.

Denton's pretty credible, so it's hard to believe "sauces" haven't gotten this angle out. No one, especially in the two biggest markets in the NBA, wants to hear he will stay. I am skeptical, but thanks for sharing.

The end of July to decide between 4 people, 2 of which shouldn't get the job? Doubt it.

I see it now. He pledges to stay and to make it work in ORL, doesn't extend with the promise of resigning with us at the end of the season, leaves us hanging.

whether we're getting trolled or not, who cares, but it sparks discussion. Sometimes it gets tiring talking about the same trade packages over and over.

no, we wont. no one is going to give anything good for a pure rental of Dwight.

BKN can't sign him outright anymore, I think.

Brooklyn and LA don't have money to sign him. Dallas or Atlanta can though.

I think the Denton info is false unfortunately....

Hennigan said in his last press conference Dwight wanted a trade and preferred Brooklyn.

I listened to that radio segment this morning, he didn't say anything about Dwight wanting to work it out. All he said was Dwight still loves the fans of ORL and Meer has been in contact with him just about all summer.

The poster is a liar.

Realistically, even if the Nets let Lopez just walk, renounced him and Kris, and reneged on the Gerald Wallace deal, they'd only have 12 mil or so to sign Howard with cap holds for the rest of the squad.
