I'd imagine Broussard was going to publish the ESPN piece at 9pm and he used Rudolph as his source, Rudolph had to wait till 9pm once the article was published.

Nah, Broussard would have named Rudolph as the source then. They both use "sources" like they're inside sources they can't disclose. Seems their sources required them to wait till 9pm to post the news. Weird.

New Orleans
Utah
Minnesota

Any more?

Ok, fine, show me an argument for Ellis over Anderson based on stats. It isn't really a challenge, I actually think it would be a good project and since I go back and forth on Ellis myself it could be helpful.

I personally think that bbd has turned a corner the last 5-7 games. He is just starting to do the things he did in boston. While I do not like his contract, I would not mind him on the team come playoff time.

No stats needed. We need a go-to scorer down the stretch in the playoffs. Ellis fits the bill enough for Dwight to pick up his option and give us a chance to get our ducks in a row for 2013 when we battle again for Dwight's signature.

If Dwight doesn't stay with the Magic after the Magic somehow pull off a deal for Ellis... after getting the new arena, signing his boy BBD, and getting his boy Hedo back... Dwight can go F himself... Ellis is a legit 2nd star that can help Dwight... that's what Dwight wants right? Change? Help? ... he wants another superstar next to him... well here Dwight... if we get Ellis, shut your mouth, put on a smile... and stay with us... no more excuses.

I kind of agree with you but in this strange situation the trades that are being made are for the purpose of keeping dwight happy enough to resign.

Anderson has been the virtual best teammate that howard could have in the frontcourt. But unfortunately howard cant see that.

If Dwight commits, then agreed. Otherwise, I say ship Dwight and rebuild.

im a huge anderson fan but i think we need a perimeter scorer in a bad way. Harper might get a chance to play some stretch 4

Dwight would at least opt in if we got Ellis.

I do not think it is about that. remember that MBA paper you posted?

stretch 4s thrives off of our system. Ilyasova for example would post at least 17-18 per in magic. even if our rook could post 13 and that would be enough to contend.

Well if we get Ellis... and Dwight is still moronically not committing (which would be baffling)... then we ship Dwight out, and hey!... at least we now have Ellis... and maybe Bynum or Lopez, Brooks, pick in return... depending on which deal we pull... not bad

How much flexibility do you think Orlando will have when they have to take back Biedrens or Lee with Ellis?
