Denver swap some unhappy and underperforming pieces for some playoff tested veterans. New Orleans get relocate talent and clear some of the log jam in the backcourt. Orlando get two pieces who are at worst expiring after next season, plus 3 solid youth pieces to add.
I feel like NO is the most likely lottery team to trade their 1st round pick. They still have the Lakers 1st rounder. I don’t know if Denver trading their 1st rounder or Bol Bol being involved because I feel like Denver might be giving up a lil too much.
If anything the Magic should try to move their 2nd rounder & Khem Birch to the Nuggets for their first (essentially moving up 6-10 spots) and leave Bol Bol out. I don’t see the point of continuing to have the glut at the PF/C position on this team and don’t understand getting Bol Bol if we don’t move Bamba. There isn’t enough PT to go around and we’ll hurt the value of one of them if we want to move them.
Nuggets are in win now mode and Bledsoe would give them a great defender at the guard and Fournier an elite spot up shooter. Maximizing the possessions the ball is in Murray, MPJ, & Jokic who should be creating the offense the majority of the time.
So
Magic out: Gordon, Fournier, Birch, 2nd Rounder
Magic in: Barton, Harris, NAW, Pelicans 1st Rounder (Top 4 protected), Nuggets 1st
Pelicans out: NAW, Bledsoe, 1st Rounder (Top 4 protected, Top 2 protected next year, Unprotected following)
Pelicans in: Gordon, Dozier
Nuggets out: Barton, Harris, Dozier, 1st Rounder
Nuggets in: Fournier, Bledsoe, Birch, Magic 2nd Rounder
