The O-Sen is reporting on this too. So this rumor must be legit!

This would be friggin awesome! I would literally cream my pants if we got the best f*ucking PG in the NBA!

I mean, I love Meer Meer to death, but we're talking about CHRIS F*UCKING PAUL here.

CP3 would do WONDERS for Dwight. He would instantly make Dwight better than he already is.

PLEASE! LETS GET CHRIS PAUL! PLEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSEEEEE!

They are reporting that Otis didn't talk to NOR.

Otis also said we weren't going to do any major moves the day before the VC trade last summer. . . . . . . . . .

What's the point of even asking Otis about trades, he always denies them.

Of course Otis is going to deny that he's trying to trade away his all-star point guard that is the engine to the team.

That's sets up for some real bad chemistry if the trade falls through and Jameer is back in Orlando next season.

They could probably get better offers for Paul than Nelson & Carter but I certainly wouldnt complain if we pulled it off. Im also pretty sure Otis would consult with Dwight before trading away Jameer, though im not sure if he would talk with him before making any offers. Not sure if Dwight would be ok with trading Jameer away. He should know its a business, but his feelings could get in the way.

Keep in mind that there were rumors during the season right before Jameer hurt his knee that CP3 would be traded to Orlando but then Jameer got hurt and the rumors went down the toilet.

Jusy sayin'. . . . . . . .

I am not holding my breath, because I don't think NOLA trades Paul unless they get a lot more than Jameer and Vince, but I would really really really like this to happen. Please.

of course they could get better offers but there's only a few teams that are willing to take on the hornets' bad contracts and that's the hole purpose of them dealing chris paul.

we're probably the only team in the league that could put together a good package of talent, give them financial relief in expirings and take on their bad contracts so they can move on as a franchise.

Apparently NOH is trying to shed salary.

Not only can we offer them a decent talent package (Jameer, VC, Gortat, Pietrus) but we can also offer them a HUGE expiring contract in VC.

We aren't getting chris paul because we are matching talent in this trade. We would be able to get him because we can offer the most talent, while also taking away salary from them, and giving them expirings.

AND the TPE. Which I think really puts us over the top. They could relieve the contract of Mo Peterson right away for the TPE in a separate trade. That gets them under the luxury threshold now.

If I was New Orleans I'd be trying to unload Okafor in any potential Chris Paul trade.
