stevekylerNBA: RT @Orlandoyankees: any truth to 19 and player for kings 5? ---> The Magic did not hire Rob Hennigan to sit out the draft or free agency

i think the key is JJ, his contract can be waived by any team wanting to dump salary

JJ+#19 for #5+garcia (for example or salmon or even Hayes) saves over 6M$ to sacramento

i cant see those trades going down but if Rob is in love with a player and this player is available at #5 who knows what might happen

Rob might like someone like Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Suggs, AB, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, TDS , Jett
Franz, TDS, Panda
P5, JI, Panda, Moe

If there was a trade for #19, wouldn't Orlando still be in the draft by getting #5?
But if I'm not mistaken, Kings still want a certain player that might not be available at #19, so I doubt they'll make a trade, if it was even on the table.

For me its a yes (although i think he knows anything and thats just a bet), but we would trade for a higher pick which would demand more focus on Draft and also by trading a player we would get more cap space to work and sign someone from FA.

The question for me is: who is this player? Jrich or JJ? They are the only options who make some sense for the Kings, but none of them should net a #5, even with #19 together, IMO.

As for sources on the Jameer rumor, it is just some "rumblings" I heard. Don't take it too seriously. Just a little rumor involving the Magic that doesn't include you know who. I would make that trade though.

It's Kyler's way of beating around the bush -- which is what he does best. It's an obvious yes, but he beats around the bush because he never wants to be right or wrong.

getting the 17 pick makes sense if the magic really do trade a player (imo anderson) and the pick for 5

thanks for sharing. I hope people don't kill you for it, but I certainly appreciate hearing what's being talked about; regardless if it happens or not.

As for Jameer, he'd have to opt-in so he could be traded. I guess you can say he has a mini-no-trade-clause.

If they waive Odom they would have 48.7M committed, but they would have Kidd and Terry as FAs to be resigned.

They'll amnesty Haywood, problem solved.

Clippers Talking Odom Trade With Dallas

The Clippers have been in trade talks with the Mavericks about acquiring Lamar Odom, according to sources.

Looks like its Mo to LAL, Odom to LAC, TPE to the Mavericks.

Not so much, we discussed some days ago that they extended the period to opt-in to work on something together, for example, Nelson doesnt want to go to Charlotte, but maybe he accepts a deal to the Mavericks, right? Its a contender. Other option is do not trade Nelson on draft night for #17, they could make this deal some days after, when the FA starts (SnT).

If Rob and DeVos have talked to Dwight and are flying out to LA again next week, that deifnately means he isn't being traded before the draft.

In my opinion, if YBR is telling the truth, then that makes me think Dwight is more likely to sign the extension than not.

If Rob had walked away from his meeting with Dwight yesterday thinking that he wants out, DeVos wouldn't be flying to LA next week and they'd be talking to Houston about those draft picks right now.
