Dwight is going to get stuck choosing between the lakers and the clippers. Man, I would love to end up with Blake. He fills seats, but still allows us to tank while he learns about that thing called defense.

Here's the Magic's cap situation next summer according to Hoopshype:

Glen Davis : $6,400,000
Jason Richardson: $6,204,250
Chris Duhon: $3,920,000
Quentin Richardson: $2,808,600
Andrew Nicholson: $1,235,000

That's five players totaling $20,567,850.

Add in Hedo's $6M buyout figure, their 2013 mid-first rounder at around $1.5M, and roster slot cap holds totaling about $3M Your'e already looking at a cap figure of around 31M.

If the Magic get Bynum he's gonna want a max salary starting around $17M. That brings the Magic up to around $48M with seven players under contract and less than $15M in cap room to fill out their roster.

$15M isn't even enough to get a max level vet FA.

And that doesn't count anyone who is going to be signed long term this summer. This is why the Magic can't trade Dwight for Bynum straight up.

I think they wont trade for D12 anymore, but maybe for Gasol.

Duhon has a buyout clause for like 1.5 million and Davis or Richardson can be stretched.

Drummond I feel will be a better big than Noel and the Magic could have had him if they had engaged the Kings and Rockets when they were talking trade.

That only shaves off about 3 to 4 million. Still not enough IMO. And in order to use the stretch provision one of those guys have to be waived while still being on the books through the 2017-2018 season. No thanks.

Lot of teams see a lot of potential in Asik. Ryan will likely get offered 3 years 22 mil.

wow.. Asik 3/22. Defensive/Rebounding centers with size and mobility is THAT hot of a commodity. His offensive game is non-existent... Seriously, I don't mean bad, his offense doesn't exist at all.

And maybe Q will opt too, never know. Either way Otis is a dumbass for signing J Rich and Davis when we could've had Bass coming off the books this summer. SUCH A DUMBASS!
