go back to sleep folks:

Chad Evans ‏@ChadEvansNBA
The deal is no where close to dead, but the talks aren't at the point where a deal is really close. A lot has to be decided.

Chad Evans ‏@ChadEvansNBA
No deal is imminent, but the #Magic #Rockets and #Lakers are discussing various scenarios on how to make this trade.

Chad Evans ‏@ChadEvansNBA
I think @daldridgetnt is one of the most trustworthy reporters out there, but I'm hearing that talks are still ongoing.

If we're going to make that Houston deal, I see no reason not to wait a month to get Donatas.

Give me Bynum, clear our some crap contracts and lets start this playoff run.

I know I'm late on this since it's on the first page but this right here^^^

Clear up space, make solid draft picks, sign a free agent wing, and hire shaw. Make the playoffs for about ~2 years then Bynum enters his prime while being the biggest mismatch against the heat in the east. Then we upset the Heat like we were supposed to with Dwight.

But if we get picks and young players back, better than the Nets package.

Y'know, I had a dream last night that Dwight was traded (no lie).......and it really made me realize how sad the moment is actually going to be.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely ready for all this to be over.......But it is truly going to suck when we wake up and have lost the greatest Magic player of all time.

Shaq and Penny were both better players than Dwight was. He may have the Magic records....but nobody is goin to debate that Dwight was "better" than Shaq. I know you mean the overall record-sheet of being a Magician.....but still. I think Penny and Shaq and possibly even TMac were better than Dwight when they were all in their short Magic stints.

I agree 100% but Hush you! I want this to be over so my normal life can resume. Plus I go on vacation on Friday and cannot get any news or info/would get shot if I tried to look up Magic news instead of spend time with the lady.

And I did not think any contracts could be officially signed till 12:01 tonight. Are you sure he (Montajunas) just didn't agree to a contract and not actually sign it till tonight? If so they can just hold off till a trade is completed and sign and trade him to Orlando

Tomarrow will start to clear up our options. If Houston misses on Asik and Lin then they have a ton of cap to take back contracts in a D12 trade.

Also we could look to the Wolves win they lose out on Batum. Maybe JRich and Q can get us the non-guaranteed deals of Webster and Miller with a 1st.

Shaq yes, Penny? Maybe if he hadn't gotten injured but he never became the player he was going to be when his knees went. T-Mac? Great player, but Dwight is better IMO. Let's not forget that Dwight is a more rounded player. T-Mac could score with the greats. But Dwight is the defensive player of this generation and a pretty damn good offensive player as well.

He either has sources or he's getting REALLY lucky guessing because he called the Nets deal falling through and the three way trade before anyone.

If ORL chooses HOU package over BKN best wishes to their fans. Laying it all on Scola, 33,and injury prone Martin plus 2 picks?

someone is mad

As opposed to injury prone Lopez and 3 late 1st round picks?
