Vucevic is in his walk year and will enter unrestricted free agency in July. Vucevic doesn’t fit president Jeff Weltman and GM John Hammond’s desire for length and versatility, Scotto adds.”

Dudes been on the block for 3-4 years. He’s stale spoiled milk at this point

Maybe, Magic haven't even tried to trade him. Just fans wishful thinking.

Does philly do this for vet depth on good contracts?

Am I crazy to think that this would at least be more exciting to watch than what Orlando has now? Muscala is on an expiring and they might need to move him due to recent events. Grant has outplayed DJ anyway and at least Fultz could play either guard position.

No, but you are crazy for thinking Philly would do this. I mean, cmon.

Unless it’s taking a flyer on an expiring disgruntled star like Jimmy Butler, I don’t see any scenario where Philly gives up Fultz this year.

Other than a team pressured into giving up a player for lesser returns (like what Butler is doing to Minny) I just don’t see a deal coming their way worth making a change. Fultz hasn’t show enough to warrant that offer and they have already invested too much in him to give up this quickly.

... yes, I did use that example to segwey into the idea of Butler to Philly.

A starting 5 of JJ, Butler, Simmons, Saric and Embiid could be pretty crazy.

Does the Orlando Sentinel have a new Magic guy to follow on twitter?

After watching Fultz play tonight, he is pretty bad. But wed still have to offer too much and end up getting fleeced and hating the guy.

You had me "Trade Augustin"

Fultz may or may not develop; it often takes 3-4 years to illustrate PG capacity. And the cost of only Simmons is worth the risk.

One could even add i) a top-15 protected 1st in 2020 and ii) Vučević for Chandler to further sweeten the deal for the Sixers.

The trade:
Orlando out: Vučević, Augustin, Simmons, a protected 1st
Philly out: Fultz, Muscala, Chandler

This is starting to look fair and doable. The Sixers want a win-now, and Simmons and Vučević (and Augustin as a deep=bench guy) to provide depth for a title run. Orlando gets a look at a potential PG of its future.

At this moment, and how PG rotation looks, best thing Magic can do is put Vučević into full Jokić mode.
Guy had 12 assists last night and each and every one of them was his great reads and passing on time.
Instad of trying to act like DJ Augustin is starting PG ,i suggest that Magic put Ross as shooter, slot Gordon , Ross and Evan on perimeter, Isaac as defensiive specialist and just play from there.

Also ,DJ off bench would balance roster better, Grant has PG skills of DJ Mbenga and Briscoe does not belong in nba (along with Iwundu ).

So biggest question. What did you think of the Paul vs Rondo fight?

The way I saw it Rondo got in more punches, but Paul's seemed to actually land and stun Rondo with a combo and uppercut. Didn't like stick man Ingram running in like a coward afterwards and tried to sucker punch the smaller Paul. That didn't seem to phase Paul one bit though...respect to Paul. Rondo and Ingram are who we know they are...punks.

Yeah from Ingram getting in that old ref's face to sucker punching CP3, kid has a lot of growing up to do. I could see 1-5 games for Rondo and CP3 and I don't even know for Ingram. Maybe 10?

Paul got hit good on the nose.... he kept touching it after as if it was bothering him and was pissed as hell about it.

Small sample size, but Isaac is so far 60% from 3. He needs to keep firing that up because it is looking good. It seems like he needs to get a few shots up at the start of the game to get going and that is not easy in this lineup now. If I am Clifford, I run a few plays for him to get him going early and then space him out for some good looks from 3.

I heard Denver's arena playing Bamba's song after someone scored. Every arena will do it before Amway lol.

Yeah but issac isn't in the offensive game plan. He's a garbage man at this point, cliff would draw something up for jsimms before issac

I think that will change over time. I said pre season that we need to give him 20 games to settle in since he played so little last year and it think that is still the case.

Over 3 games Vučević is averaging 17-10-7 on 121 off rating and +5,8 real plus minus on offense (also positive on defense )

Would not want Fultz at all. Not saying he’ll be a bust, but I wouldn’t be happy to have him.
