I think George or Nick Smith would also be a great fit with the Magic.

Wow both Dick and especially George look amazing right now, just what we need. I am a lot lower on Scoot and Victor than consensus. Playing Scoot next to Banchero would be a crime on offense and Wembenyama will be on skates a lot on defense propably more than Bol Bol.
If top of the draft looks like George (11 on tankathon ?!?!?!?!) it will take a lot to pry that pick from us.

Why are you lower on Wembanyama and Henderson?

I dont like small guards who cant shoot from 3 and tall slim dudes who cant switch and are not elite passers or shooters. I acknowledge that they are very good prospects but they seem like players you need to build around to cover their weaknesses.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

What you don't like with Dick?
He's too soft (badum bum). Joking.

Honestly, I don't know. Just have to watch him more. His highlights are nice but something is missing from me. Will be tuned in on Tuesday (11/15) to see him play Duke.

How small is Scoot really?

He's listed 6'2" 196 and purportedly has a 6'9" wingspan. If that wingspan measurement is real, then he's certainly not undersized.

You are kind of right but he is still small for a basketball player. Players like Franz and Paolo will just shoot above him like he is not even there. I agree bulky guards do better than their size would suggest but they are still supporting players if they are not basketball geniuses and they are rarely starters if they dont shoot the lights out.

It really depends on what the truth is isn't it? Remember our boy " Fade for Cade" who was supposedly 6'8? I think we need another of those " stand together with a known player " to see if he really is 6'2 or just Jameer's 6ft.

I think Scoot will be fine, size-wise.

Scoot is in the one without a shirt. He's standing next to Ja Morant.

If Bol keeps playing like he has and we somehow win the lottery, I don't know how any team matches up with a potential Wemby/Paolo/Bol/Franz/Suggs lineup. I mean, how do you even gameplan for a lineup like that?

That's what I'm thinking...if it is Ja, that puts Scoot at a rock solid 6'4

If that's not Ja, that's one hell of a doppelganger.

Yeah similar hairstyles/build/tattoos but his tat is different on his arm and this guy looks a little different in the face.

Yeah, you're 100% right. I had to find the source of the photo and located it on Scoot's IG page. Definitely not Ja but one of his friends that everyone jokingly says looks like Ja.

My bad.

Scoot is an absolute dream fit next to Paolo/Wagner. He’s the piece that would potentially solidify us as a future contender for years to come.

But the chances of us getting him are so low. I refuse to get my hopes up.
