We are lucky Houston and Detroid are not the best at evaluating prospects. Weaver is accumulating big man and non shooting guards/wings. I wonder how it will end.

i think everybody in NBA knows that Houston will trade for superstar in first moment they catch opportunity. This draft thing was never their thing. They didn't even really tank for Hakeem. Them having two back to back terrible years is first time since 1983.

Come on.
Das ist übertrieben.

Black is good but comparing him to Magic Johnson is a hot take.

Wait, wut?

Black isn’t happy with the logjam?
No. He was up late, so it'll be tough for him to wake up for the news conference.

No, I'm just guessing. I guess signing the contract will be motivation. I remember Paolo did a Pod squad podcast and news conference the next day.

Black really was a star in football. He looked Randy Moss-like to me. 79 receptions and 16 TDs in his sophomore and junior seasons.

my biggest problem is development. He will be the 3rd PG on the team, and 2nd SG at best (assuming Harris released/traded) otherwise 3rd SG. he just is not going to get court time. and dont tell me he can play 1-3, he will never see time at SF.

not too surprising. if you are athletic enough to get drafted top-10 in the NBA, you are generally a high level athlete.

Those practices between Cole Fultz Black and Suggs are going to be really crazy.

I believe day 1 that he'll be the backup PG. Markelle has never been healthy a whole season, so Black will get starts at PG.

Black is a way better passer/playmaker than Cole. Cole could play off the ball with him. Harris might be the odd man out.

Any video out there on Black and his offseason workouts? Would like to see if his shot mechanics have progressed at all, might make me feel better on him, lol. Right now I like his game except for that shot, and we've been burned so many times on guys who we just hope can develop a shot that it's beyond frustrating.

basketballRob wrote:Skiles was the PG for the first half of Penny's first season. Skiles was a stat factory. He had a 30 assist game the year before. Once they made the move and put Penny at PG, the team was so much better even tho Penny wasn't putting up the stats Skiles did.

This brings back memories!

then they better move Cole right away, otherwise that could destroy chemistry, especially the way Cole played last year.

I really hope he discovers Fultz/Banchero's hair braider. Black's loose hair is not on-a-path towards high-percentage shooting. Tie it back!

Less Anthony's hair-band style.

Thanks, so basically still no lift on that shot, lol. Working with Steph's trainer I wonder if they've decided he doesn't need it? Seems odd.
