Absolutely awful team building once it’s all drawn up like this…move people out- it doesn’t mean you don’t like them or they’re not popular among their teammates. 4 guys with legit claims to PG mins, all in teens or early 20’s?

There’s a fine line between “amassing talent” and “lack of direction”…we are precarious, imo. Too much evaluation without any decisiveness is a mess. Send out redundant player(s)-choose the ones you’re riding with…bring back what we still lack or, if you’re gutless, future considerations.

Fultz-Anthony
Suggs-Black
Wagner-Ingles
Banchero-Isaac
Wcj-Wagner

+
at very least other 2-3 competent nba players.

with no massive-injuries-explosion,no way this team is not better than last season.

only weak point i could see is at center position,if wendell can not play 70 games.

lol exactly. I think it's

PG: Fultz, Cole, Black
SG: Harris, Suggs, Houstan
SF: Franz, Ingles, Jett, Chuma
PF: Paolo, Isaac, Moe
C: WCJ, Goga

I would not be shocked if Suggs is starting. Harris balances starting line up better though. I bet they split time 24/24. I legit don't think either of our picks see PT until an injury or garbage time.

PG: Fultz (28), Black (10), Cole (6), Suggs (4)
SG: Suggs: (20), Cole (16), Harris (12)
SF: Franz (32), Black (6), Jett (6), Ingles (2)
PF: Paolo (34), Ingles (14), Isaac (We'll see)
C: Wendell (32), Goga (12), Mo (4)

A couple big things:

-Black gotta get some run at PG, to let him learn & grow

-Ingles playing more PF than SF, to help with lack of depth for bigs

-Isaac is a question mark, if he's healthy and able to stay healthy, he'll work towards 15-20 mpg this season and it'll affect the minutes distribution, but for now we'll have to wait & see

Cole just had his best season yet, and was pretty valuable for the team. Cutting his minutes to 22 MPG in a contract year is not fair and will probably piss him off.

Suggs is in his third year and if he improves a little more he should be getting 30 mpg.

16 mins for Black is too little unless he's playing like crap. Should be like 20 mpg.

6 mpg for Jett is also too little. We need his shooting, and we need to see what he can do. Should be atleast 15mpg.

Ingles played 22mpg coming off an injury last season on the team with the best record in the NBA. Id think he gets 20 mpg too.

Harris getting 12 mill to play 12 mpg is also a waste. Same with Mo getting 8 mill to play 4 mpg.

I just dont see this working out, a trade needs to be made.

Suggs will not sniff PG with our current roster. He and Gary are gonna split time at SG. Would not be surprised if tis 24/24 or around that.

It doesnt really matter what you want to label him. Suggs can play "PG" in the sense that he can defend the opposing team's PG, he doesnt have to be the primary ball handler. This team is being built with multiple ball-handlers. Anyway, whatever position Suggs plays at, theres just not going to be enough playing time for everyone. I think we'll see a trade happen, but right now I think a lot of teams are waiting on the Dame situation to resolve so they can make moves.

Its not necessarily a mess, depends whats the plan. If the plan is to resign both Cole and Fultz while doesnt trade anybody than yeah thats kind of a mess, BUT if the plan is to bring rookies slowly, not extend one of or both Cole/Fultz than it makes a lot of sense.
You create obstacle which then you can decide if to move or not. Its a win win situation. Not many understand it but what we did with Bamba was a win win situation. I dont believe Fultz is worth anything so moving from him early doesnt really matter, similar with Cole.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

He is actually 3rd in the SG ESPN depth chart and 4th in the PG depth chart.

theyre wrong. Suggs will either be the starting SG or back up. Either way he will likely play more minutes than Gary Harris.

Howard over Ingles is also laughable but its ESPN they can just throw **** on the wall

Goodness seeing this on paper really shows how messed up our guard spots are. We've got 6 dudes for 4 spots

Rooks just aren’t going to get a lot of burn this season. I fully expect this to be a ‘push for the playoffs while evaluating certain players’ year. I think the only guys that aren’t being evaluated are Paolo, Franz, and WCJ. Everyone else will be closely reviewed for fit moving forward. If the rooks look great in practice, they’ll get more burn later on this season and trades will be made… or we let some walk. If the rooks don’t look great, then they may as well prepare for the GSW treatment of lotto picks over the last few years. And honestly, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this approach for this season.
