The problem with Caleb always was the streakiness.... Similar issue with Cole Anthony....if this is the Caleb we're getting from now on?more consistent Caleb then why not pick up his option.... Cheap ahh contract and he's actually starting to deliver on the shooting

Looking at net points and Fultz seems to have won the battle against AB.

AB played great in the 1st half then came in on cruise control in a blowout with 4 min left in 3rd. I can't hold this game against him. Still looked good when it mattered IMO.

did you watch the game? he was terrible imo, bricking things left and right, same hitchy jumpshot.

the only reason he got any points is because is they were up 30, and cleared the bench and he was able to get a lot of easy drives off garbage time. None of his points came when it mattered.

i kind of feel bad for Sacramento, because Fultz has this thing of hyping himself up, and posting videos of him shooting to make you think he is recovered, then basically comes back with this hitch. He did it to us, now he is doing it to them. Like it's silly at this point, if you can't shoot anymore, embrace it, but stop showing highlight on your instagram of normal looking shots in the gym/practice, and putting up quotes about being doubted.

I couldn't watch a game but we made 18 threes , that's always great.

Best counter argument is : lie , isn't it?

Houstan is btw fringe nba player, never said Suggs will be out of nba, i said he won't be PG in nba, guess what- he isn't.

And much like Okeke, Bamba , Fultz, by the 2027, Jett Howard will be either out of nba or fringe deep body. Matter of fact he already is fringe-deep bench body.

I haven't watched much College basketball but I do not understand how he's a mid-to-late 2nd round talent.
Pritchard was drafted 26th. Both are 6'2" 190 lb PGs. Brunson drafted 33rd and is 6'2" 190.

I guess at that size and older, that's the range you get picked.

Both Brunson and Prichard were better college players than Clayton is.

It's not just about size, it's more about age and how much better player can get, entering nba at age of 23-ish.
One whole year will be wasted in re-programing from bad habits & catching up with speed of nba, by year 24 you are what you are.

In most sports, including non-college basketball, around the globe, player at age of 22-23 is alraedy pro for at least 4 years.

Vast majority of college "elite scorers" end up in exotic leagues around the globe, among ones who actually end up being pro basketball players.

In 99% of other sports & leagues if you are not pro at age of 22- you are amateur that doesn't belong in pro sports.

If you go even deeper, probability of getting good nba player pass age of 21 is very low, that's why teams simply- don't take them.

I assume the Magic will be picking that up for sure.

The last seven games, Houstan looks like a keeper!

He proves he has the one NBA skill no other Magician has; hit the three ball.

Box score thoughts:
Orlando had a higher FG% AND took more shots. That's a clear winning strategy.

To be fair, a lot of his quality statistical minutes last year were in junk time too

He is still just a specialist at best. I’m fine keeping him as 15th guy.

I’m curious to see how he does in the playin and playoffs. After our top 3, I feel he has the most potential talent.
