DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD THE WICKED WITCH IS DEAD PARTY IN ORLANDO OTIS SMITH IS NO MOREEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Hopefully this means that Dwight will commit to us long term.. Which would make this .gif unlikely

That said, change was needed, and I welcome the decision to part ways. I hope the front office hires capable people, particularly at GM, because we need someone who wants to--and will--clear cap.
Things will be interesting, at least. Looking forward to it.
this is pretty parallel to what i'm thinking right now, except i'm a little more resentful to Otis, given how he handled this entire last season. Dwight may have been playing prima donna and making things hard, but Otis behaved like a jilted lover, choosing to have the breakup in loud voices in the middle of the restaurant, rather than to keep it all behind closed doors.

He has repeatedly proven he is an idiot.
I bet if we kept them, he'd be saying the same thing. Just like he was before Dwight extended.
Remember when Dwight first extended? He behaved extremely unprofessional in his openness in attacking Dwight's character, he is a clear homer, doesn't bother hiding his bias for certain players/teams, and his only real contributions are his back-and-forth with Skip.
I've been done with that fool. He'll probably be absolutely shocked when Dwight doesn't end up in BK, and go right back to insulting him again. Clown. I seriously respect Skip FAAAARRRR more than him.

Stephen A & Ken Berger both have their minds set that Dwight is gone.

Yep...
hmm... my money is on JJ being traded this summer. i know he's a consummate professional, but i'd imagine he's not too fond of Dwight or the drama that's unfolded around him, and magic might sense/know that and choose to get value out of his expiring/unguaranteed contract now rather than let him walk next summer.

Now that SVG is gone do you guys think it persuades Meer one way or the other?
Probably gonna wait for Dwights take before he makes his decision, but I think he could follow SVG somewhere.

If Dwight ends up getting traded this summer I would be angry. See they shoulda just missed the playoffs on purpose so if Dwight does leave at least we would have something damn.

What would that have done for us?
Absolutely nothing.

Interesting.
Just speculation, but well, this is a thread about speculation anyway...
So lets say D12 wants a long-term contract, we can offer it to him, say to him that we will clear a lot of cap this season, so he doesnt needs to play all the games and he can take a lot of time rehabing.
So in 2013 we will have a high draft pick and a lots of cap space. Who is with me?

I think he and Anderson kinda fall in this boat. Hopefully I'm (we're) wrong.

Some Magic fans dont like the idea of tanking, we coulda hade a lotto pick this year.
We lost in the first round which translates to..nothing. What I wanna find out is what
is the quality of talent in 2013 since we missed out on this one.
