Sorry, just proving a point that no name sources doesn't mean it actually happened. :D

But, I like that Doc mentioned the Magic after Boston lost to Miami. Sort of like a hint. We will see. If Boston decides to make another run, Doc is staying or leaving.

I like Doc, but why did he have Bass guarding LeBron?? Biggest mismatch ever.

He drank a bit too much of the kool aid this board was serving out during the 2 years Bass was here.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

And JVG was the one who was pouring it out from the pitcher during the series.

Rondo
Bradley
Pierce
Bass
Steimsma

And they have two 1sts this year and 20+ million in capspace, they are in better shape than we are going into next season and he is getting paid 7 million per, so I dont see any reason for him to leave Boston other than his offseason home is in Orlando

agreed

outside of Dwight, Rondo + Bradley are better now and have more potential than any players we have

Lebron was killing Pierce in game 6, and when he switched Bass over, Lebron missed couple of shots. Bass on Lebron is OK, since you can't beat him with speed, try to beat him with strength and length. Bass on Lebron is still better with JRich and Hedo on Lebron.

The current Hedo sure. Hedo did do ok against LBJ in his previous stint with us.

yeah, i remember being thoroughly impressed by what Hedo did against LBJ in that conference finals. he was really able to use his length to disrupt him - as much as any player can disrupt LeBron, that is.

Saw this coming.

I'm excited about it because that could mean moving up in the draft for Austin Rivers! :D

I am sooo sold on that kid transitioning into a Combo PG in the NBA.

Rondo vs Lebron was the most effective thing because it stopped Lebron from driving and made it more tempting for him to shoot. ...which he sucks at normally.

that sounds like the bitter aftertaste of some Ryan-Anderson-failing-to-show-up-for-the-playoffs flavour kool aid. the best thing to get rid of that taste is drinking some BBD kool aid.

I doubt Doc leaves Boston. He's the highest paid coach in the league with 4 years left on his deal on the all-time winningest franchise in the NBA. Unless he wants to be closer to home, I don't see him coming here. I do like us trying though.

Just give me Lindsey/Weaver, Shaw/Malone, and a resigned Dwight and I'm happy. I would be very confident that Lindsey or Weaver could handle the rest.

If the Devos's are meeting the final candidates Monday-Wednesday, then I assume we find out soon. Probably Friday, next Monday at the latest, 10 days before the draft.

How do you know he's going to meet them this week? Did I miss a report or tweet?

I'm guessing Friday imo.
