Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XLVI
I've often thought about the concept of trading Dwight, to say, the Rockets. Dumping all our bad contracts and receiving youthful talent, and then signing Dwight out right at seasons end. Now this would of been a cruel practice, and Dwight was never on board with it, but If i was GM'ing, it'd of definetly crossed my mind and I would of run it by Dwight's...
Didn't happen and I'm moving on. (Or did it happen?)
Just a thought.
lmao
Question: Did Hennigan and Dwight perform the classic bait and switch maneuver on the Lakers?
We'll know in due time.

I strongly dislike Dwight Howard. At 5:29PM this Wednesday, September 5th in the year 2012 I felt the need to publicly declare my feeling towards him.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XLVI
Can we get Dwight Howard and Jason Richardson's tweets removed from the "RealGM Orlando Magic Front Office" page? Perhaps replace them with tweets from Andrew Nicholson, Kyle O'Quinn, Moe Harkless, Arron Afflalo, Gustavo Ayon, Al Harrington, etc.?

Wow... RDV had a stroke like a week after the Dwight trade? Not a coincidence... f_ck Dwight.

Was also thinking this...sick of seeing Dwight's child like responses to people.

I don't care for Dwight either but RDV is largely responsible for the mess he allowed Otis to create... So he basically did it to himself.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XLVI
E'Twaun Moore learned the NBA is a cold-hearted business his rookie season with the Boston Celtics.
Lockers had barely been cleaned out and team uniforms packed away when the former Purdue star and East Chicago native was traded to Houston, then immediately waived.
"In the back of my mind, I was hurt a little bit because I didn't get to play, but I stayed positive," Moore said.
The 6-foot-3 guard never lost hope and recently agreed to a two-year deal with the rebuilding Orlando Magic.
"I'm definitely excited. You hardly play (in Boston) and then you get a chance on a new team," Moore said. "I might even get to know Mickey (Mouse) a little bit."
Moore averaged 2.9 points in 38 regular-season games with the Celtics. His agent, Chicago-based Mark Bartelstein, says he'll be battling to be the backup point guard behind Jameer Nelson.
"He played the best of any guard in the (Las Vegas) summer league," Bartelstein said.
"I was confident that something would come through," Moore said. "I had a few options. It was just a matter of waiting and being patient."
Various NBA web sites had listed the Bulls, Pacers and Heat as teams most interested in the E.C. Central grad.
"It's a business. A lot of crazy things happen and you've got to work through it," Moore said.
The Magic don't have All-Star center Dwight Howard, who was traded to the Lakers, nor coach Stan Van Gundy, who was fired and replaced by Jacque Vaughn. But Moore says none of that affects him or his focus.
"I just want to play and show people what I've been working on with my game," Moore said. "I'm in a great area, a great city. It's going to be exciting."

Moore is a good guy, definitely fits the Hennigan model. I was a fan of him and Jujuan Johnson during their Purdue days. I'll be rooting for Moore. I think he'll end up beating out Ish for the back up point guard spot.

Interesting that he went with the Nets... let's see if Andray will mature this upcoming season or if he will still be a bonehead on the court & in the locker room... I hope it's the latter personally... screw the Nets

GREAT! The Magic miss out on yet another stud. Could have been 20/10 here low risk high reward guy. Good job Otis.
This adds to the conspiracy. The Lakers, Stern, George Clinton, Heisenberg, the whole gang of them want to see the Magic fail.
Ugh, it's going to be a painful 10 years. I'll be sure to visit this forum though every night and make sure you people know I'm disappointed.
