Nerlens Noel is set to go to Cleveland for visit June 20. He was at Orlando Sun. Key question is will Cavs take him No. 1 for someone else?

Is it just me, or is it weird you wait 3 weeks and until 5 days before the draft to bring in the guy everyone thinks you're going to draft?

Not really.. It's not a race to draft him. The cav's will look at all their options and than bring him in after and compare against the other leaders on their draft board.

That's what I was thinking. Draft is a week after they meet him. I feel like that's information they should have earlier in the process.

Since he cannot workout, they are probably more concerned with looking at the state of progress with his knee. I would think that its better to look at the progress at the furthest along point possible in his recovery.

And since they pick first if they want him he's theirs so no need to rush..

Was thinking if we do indeed get B Mac then we'd could have an opening night lineup of Jameer (or if they get someone better) B Mac (I think Afflalo is out of here), Harkless, Tobes, and Vuc. That's a pretty talented lineup right there.

What happened to Glen Davis? I would be shocked if they got rid of Afflalo AND Davis. Happy, but shocked.

Tobias is such a gym rat.....That kid is basketball 24/7, if he isn't playing or working on basketball, he is spending time visiting and talking (learning) to coaches and great players about basketball.

Good to know. I would like to see if JV is planning to use him as a stretch 4 like Rashard or move him to the 3.

Nah. I think they are just doing their due diligence with Noel's knee and researching on what they should know so that when he goes to Cle, they know what to do etc.

I wouldn't put much stock into it.

He dominates at SF. I think he's gotta stay there. Get some practice at PF this year while we tank maybe. In the long run, he's gotta be our starting SF.

I'd be more than satisfied with Ben McLemore and then of course grabbing Sterns behind, calling him a sexy mofo, best commish ever and then giving Silver a wink, send him the most expensive heart-shaped box of chocolates with each chocolate wrapped in Magic wrappers... to make sure we get the first pick in 2014. Just basic stuff, ya know.

That's if they want to go with Tobes at the stretch 4. But likely Big Baby will be there at the 4

Dude, 29 other teams are all going to try that timid crap. If we want to have a chance at the #1 pick in 2014, we gotta do way freakier stuff than that.

I'm starting to really open up to us taking McLemore. My question is there are alot of ppl on here who would like for us to draft McLemore and also get the #1 pcik in the '14 draft which would basically net Wiggins. My question is if we take McLemore does that take us out of the running to take Wiggins with McLemore and possibly Harkless able to play the SG position?
