I don't buy it

Nobody does. Eventually Prokorov will be investigated and castigated somehow, probably suspended because he'll continue to flaunt the rules, and sooner or later crowned champion. Those things will not be mutually exclusive for some reason.

I call it "tax heaven", you know, those ṕlaces where millionaires like the Net's owner move money at will, far from NBA control.

Why do u think d12 was begging to get there?

I was playing around on Basketball Reference looking at our different lineups for 2-man combinations only, and surprisingly, Vuc and Harkless have the top 2 Total rebound percentage even though Harkless has a PER of 6.1 rebounds. What's up with that?

In a 3-man combination with Jameer, Harkless, and Vuc, the TRB% is still in the bottom 3.

Wow, and when I add 4-man or 5-man combo, the only time Vuc and Harkless's TRB% is in the top 5 or 6 is when Nicholson is in the lineup with them.

Never knew Nicholson had this much of an impact on rebounding when he's on the court with Vuc.

Here's the link I'm looking at BTW: http://www.basketball-reference.com/pla ... eups/2013/

Nicholson is a 17PPG 8 RPG PEr36 guy. Just doesn't get a lot of minutes.

He produced in the minutes he got. That's what I really liked about him, when he came in you knew that he was going to score a few buckets at least more often than not.

I meant to say top 2 WORST TRB%. Anyone now why?

For Nicholson to get those kind of minutes regularly, we would need a defensive oriented big next to him to make up for AN's lack of defensive intensity. We'd be so weak in the paint with AN and Vuc playing a ton of minutes.

Oh yeah, I was just pointing out that a 17 and 8 power forward ain't that bad. Defense is suspect, but he does get boards.

Jalen Rose and David Jacoby discuss the underreported practice of middle school basketball prospects like Nerlens Noel and Andrew Wiggins staying back a year in school so they can dominate on the court.

lets see. AK47 and the Nets owner are Russian. I bet there is some Russian Money being moved to AK47 in the future or some Russian investment AK47 makes will have a $10 to $20 million return on it 4-5 years from now thanks to Pokhorov!!!

wow

So players like Wiggins, Noel, Shabazz, etc have all this hype coming into college, not because they dominated with their talent, but because they dominated with their talent against YOUNGER players. WTF -

Because of this, I totally support the NBA age limit. This forces players that have found this loophole to prove their talent vs other collegiate athletes or international talent for 1 year vs playing against younger players and making it off of the hype.

This has totally changed my views on high school hype and incoming freshman.

Well, the AAU circuit is by age, so staying back isn't helping that. High school doesn't come into play too much.
