I can see him lashing out at this team and us looking to trade him again. Too bad we don't have a star, that way we could make that trade.

they'll have 2 months of a honeymoon stage which will be just in time for resigning, which is the important part in their gamble. There probably hasn't been as talent of a front court duo in this league since Robinson and Duncan. Definitely watching their first game together.

You mean that run were we went 10-13??? Ok.
as a starter (27mpg) he was only putting up 7ppg & 8rebs. His PER is below replacement. I want him to be better, but that is a lot of hope. Also overlapped with AG moving back to starter.

ONCE AGAIN WITH A LINE-UP THAT CAN AND WILL HIDE/MASK HIS DEFICIENCIES HE WILL FLOURISH

You saying it will ( i guess having it CAPS means it's true) doesn't make it fact.
Plus, your line-up is totally hypothetical to start with, so not sure why I'm spending so much time on this.

In terms of sheer talent that is one of the most talented front courts in the last few decades. Now they need to make sure they got good 3pt shooting to make teams pay for doubling their big 2.

Biz has not shown any competency in being a starting center. You'd be playing 4 on 5.

also dont you realize any pg we try to sign will cost much more then reggie makes? think about this if we trade for reggie do you really think thats the final move? dont you think we are more then likely after butler or PG13, not saying we get them but if we get what we are going after you have to realize our pick will be involved

Yes, any top flight PG will make $20+ season. I'd rather pay the extra $4M to get one of those.

Also, don't you realize, we are heading into the riches PG draft in a long time. So we are going to Over pay a backup PG? or have a top 5 pick sit the bench??

REGGIE IS A BACK UP? HE MAY NOT BE STARTING BUT ITS NOT BECAUSE HE IS A BACK UP, HE HAD A KNEE INJURY AND ISH SMITH FITS DET BETTER NOW THEN REGGIE DOES, YOU ARE ALSO IGNORING EVERYTHING IM SAYIN AND FOCUSING ON 1 THING, REGGIE ISNT THE ONLY THING WE DO IF WE DO IT, IF WE TRADE OUR PICK IN A PACKAGE FOR A STAR WE CANT DRAFT THESE PG'S, ALSO WE ARE TRADING UNWATED PARTS FOR REGGIE, REGGIE ALONE MAKES THIS TEAM BETTER NOW AND IN THE FUTURE BUT AGAIN IT WONT BE OUR ONLY MOVE

STOP WITH THE CAPS, IT DOESN'T IMPROVE YOUR STANCE.

Ok, I'll address the rest of your scenario.
1. Butler or PG are not re-signing to play with this line-up.
2. right now, we are better at SG, PF,Center and bench than in your proposed line-up.
3. Chicago couldn't take all those guaranteed contracts back

We're not going to make any wholesale trades for a star right now. If a move is made its a small trade to free up cap and maybe add another second round pick. The next big addition will be in the draft. Then I bet we package tor/clipps pick with second round pick(s) and maybe a player or two to move up in the draft with the second pick. We're in for queit stretch of losing until then.

the reason i think we still go for a star is rumors state we are still looking for a wing player and a scoring pg, I dont believe we settle for a role playing wing playre, our draft pick holds alot of value in trade also

i still think thats bs, the only way I believe its true is the fact we risk him not signing the extension and we give up so much for him to leave next summer

I'm not friends with those players, but what I do have is common sense.
What PG has in Indiana (Turner), and what Butler (Mirotic, wade, Lopez) has in Chicago is better than what we have.

We'll get more value in the summer, when draft order is known.

Before we trade for RJ, we need to ask ourselves "Is he a franchise PG?"

If not, we can always draft a rookie PG from this draft

"Near Long Term" is all we ask for.

i agree about Indiana (i would include Thad Young and Teague), but i dont agree about Chicago. That team outside of Butler is pretty bad. I dont count Wade cuz he is so old

with no rumors com9ing in anyone care to make predictions as to what may happen, knowing most trades come out of nowhere and are usually what we didn't expect this should be fun

being that the ibaka to toronto trade was known for a while and us being after ross was known for a while ill go ahead with the current rumor of
dj and jeff green for reggie jackson, adding aaron baynes as filler

if this trade doesn't happen something out of left field happens
I'll go ep4 green Hezonja for holiday cunningham

or ep4, green, hezonja, Vuc, toronto pick for bledsoe, Len and whatever filler, kings said they wont trade cousins and traded him, phoenix has said they wont trade bledsoe, could still wind up trading him

biz hezonja cj watson for wilson chandler and filler
