Welman was clear: upside.
In particular it was stated that Howard played injured and was actually a better player.
But I got lost in the defense of "let's draft the injured guy".
You mean Dick gets all the white -lite-racism stereotypes knocks: just shooter, not athletic, and Jett fits perfeclly into every white- stereotypes : unathletic, can't move feet, doesn't guard space, is bullied by bigger players, can't rebound, but is okey passer and good shooter - just happends to be black?
In reality Dick is way more versitale than people give him credit ,and Jett is way less versitale than now people are trying to project him to be. Jett is stand still-spot up shooter without any clear strenght beside shooting, plus he can't play anything but SF ( but will probably struggle there as well since he can't defend athletic SFs) and maybe some PFs , if you can work away fact he can't rebound to save his life nor is interested in doing so, rather has habbit of leaking in transition. Like i don't know, having Gobert or some Deandre Jordan next to him to grab 15 out of potential 18 rebounds.
Our army of " no clear skill ,but 6'8 " got new warrior: Okeke, iwundu; Frazier, Houstan, Jefferson, Martin, Bj Johnson, Jamel Artis. All of same type. All in desparation for Middelton 2 from Hammond's glory Bucks days, when he could draft but couldn't build rosters.
