I don't think we have the assets to land monta, but I disagree with you not needing Nelson. With curry popping his ankle every other game gs could Certainly use a good pg like Nelson.

The full Magic roster would be:
Westbrook/Nelson/Duhon/Hughes
Richardson-2/Redick/Wafer/Liggins
Turkoglu/Richardson-1
Ibaka/Anderson/Clark/Harper
Perkins/Orton

This is a good roster and is deep. GM Smith could then turn Duhon and Redick into a couple of combo bigs. A Darko Milicic type.

Then Orlando would be:
Westbrook/Nelson/Hughes
Richardson-2/Wafer/Liggins
Turkoglu/Richardson-1
Ibaka/Anderson/Clark/Harper
Perkins/Milicic/Orton

This is a very, very deep team. There are nine players who have regularly started on such a roster.

..
The very trade I brought up months ago when that trade rumor about Dwight to la for Bynum and odom surfaced. Mine may have been slightly different but it centered around Westbrook

I dont think OKC does that deal. In my opinion it makes them worse. They are losing a lot of offense in that deal, and players you cannot leave to double team Durant.

No way I would do that deal. Probably not even if you swapped out Baby for Hedo. May have to include Duhon too and add Harden on OKC. Then, just maybe still.

imo while I would love to have harden and consider him better than eric gordon scoring wise, I think getting two talented 6'10+ players in the nba trumps any sg, hence LA not willing to give up both gasol and bynum for d12.

Im starting to open up a little bit at the idea of nash playing here. I personally think Dwight is gone anyway so might as well give it a shot. The only problem I see is depending on Duhon as the back up assuming we move Nelson.

LA just bluffing. They would happily do Bynum/Gasol for Dwight if that was the only way they could get Dwight.

If the problems in OKC are actually what they seem than OKC may be looking to seperate Westbrook and Durrant. If that is being forced by bad chemistry I think Otis needs to make a run at westbrook. I have not heard him mentioned as one of the guys on D12's list but if we are looking for someone who looks to score and can pass than he needs to be considered.

It all depends on how bad the rift is between Durrant and Him.

OKC is NOT trading Westbrook unless they get back an All Star. He is a 23 year old 2nd team All NBA player and All Star. Orlando does not have a package that comes close to what OKC would be looking for....unless you are trading them D12

I wish it would be possible without involving howard but no way does orlando have any pieces to swing a trade for westbrook. He has pretty much the same skill set as d.rose but just does not have the right frame of mind.

So hes damaged goods who is fighting with the scoring champ. If brook lopez, gerald wallace and crap gets dwight than we can come up with a creative deal for him if we had a great GM.

Westbrook, Harden, Perkins for Dwight, Hedo would be the best offer i have heard so far. I want no part of the broken Bynum nor aging Pau. we can trade Jameer and JJ and picks for Iggy.

Westbrook/ Duhon/ Hughes
Harden/JR
Iggy/QR
BB/RA
Perkins/BB/RA

this looks really good. but i'm not sure if d12 would agree on going to OKC. nor if philly would want to trade iggy also...

yeah, i gotcha... i had thought of this lately:

LAL sends Bynum, Gasol
GSW sends Ellis + pick
ORL sends D12

LAL gets D12
ORL gets Ellis, Bynum + pick
GSW gets Gasol

GSW is full of Cs, so they could maybe get World Peace instead of Gasol. i think it would be good for all teams involved...
then we could trade meer + filler for a pg like devin harris or calderon and trade j-richs for a more defensive-minded forward and picks... i like aminu, for instance. it would result in:

Bynum/BBD/Orton
Anderson/Clark/Harper
Aminu/Turk/Q
Ellis/Reddick/Liggins
Calderon or Harris/Duhon/Hughes

not a title contender now, but maybe in the next years, as long as it is a not an old team and we could benefit from picks

Anyone else surprised Arenas is still on the market? I want him to go somewhere so I can at least see if he's terrible still.

Personally, I think his career is over. I think Iverson has a better chance of accomplishing something in the NBA still.
